Just got home; this does not look good. Looks better than it did earlier. Yeah it looks better now. They just need to hold on for one more minute.

A win is a win. Good job not folding when down by 11.
But, a bad team that shot 40% from the line scored 69 against us.

The refs were completely out of wack too...and I wasn't the only one thinking that...listened to the radio near the end...Johnson didn't like the refs either. "That is (Bowling Green player, can't remember his name)'s 4th official foul...but he should have 11."
Still...nice to see us make the FT for once, Meier and Boyle hitting their shots, and ALLEN WITH THE BIT**IN' ALLEY OOP DUNK!

I talk to Anthony Hill's little brother, he told me he has an eye injury. Bill Johnson in the postgame asked Bidlingmyer about Hill, he said no comment.

It was a fun win. The team is still obviously working through its funk but Tone and Tony stepped up big in the second half and it was great to see that. Kaylon played better down the stretch too. Ant (who I presume was out with an injury of some kind) was an active cheerleader on the bench. And the team looked much crisper against the press than it did against DePaul. Not outstanding, but better. They are learning. On offense we played a very nice high/low post game more extensively than we have in earlier games. It gave us both some good interior opportunities and some excellent kickouts. Our defensive rebounding was very shaky, however.
So those of you "boycotting" missed a lot of interesting developments and a great rally.
The kids still need and want the support. When there are so few opportunities to see Panther basketball live, I'm going to go to every game I can get to and cheer for them.

Did Bill Johnson mention the two second half possessions in which UWM ended up scoring a three pointer (total of six points) where they could easily have been called for traveling. Once again we struggled with the press. I think it is a given that unless this team proves otherwise we will see a lot of pressing from opponents.

Does anyone know what was the reason for the Technical in the 2nd half?

According to Hill's little brother he didn't play to due the eye injury suffered in the DePaul game. He still cannot see clearly out of both eyes.

Sorry, couldn't agree less about this game being worthwhile to be at. Just another under performing game other than the last 5-10 minutes. This is a team with a lot of talent that makes ridiculous mistakes over the course of a game. A W is a W but if you missed this one you really just missed more frustrating basketball to watch.

Does anyone know what was the reason for the Technical in the 2nd half? Assistant Coach for Bowling Green continued on with the ref after the head coach was warned to stop.

Every shot that Tone Boyle took was a three. 7-14 He needs to drive to the hoop and get some 12 footers.
