UC Davis 62 at California 74 I would guess Cal scored more than 5 points in the half. ;D Those that don't know what I'm talking about, Cal scored 5 points in the first half versus Notre Dame in the semi's of the Old Spice Classic.

Stumbled across an interesting bit of information today: Milwaukee and Loyola are the only Horizon League teams to have scheduled nothing but Division I schools this season.

I just wanted to make mention of something I noticed from San Diego St. It seemed they probably knew they were going to have a big season, or maybe this is just their general strategy, but they scheduled a lot of top mid majors (or non power 6) teams.
Northern Iowa has been playing well. Need to get more teams like them to the cell.

They scheduled non-Power 6 teams?
So, they're playing a lot of games against the Pac 10?

Portland won at Denver. I saw a bit of it on Fox College Sports.

To date, I would rate the quality of opponents as such:
1, Wisconsin 2, Cleveland State 3, Marquette 4, Portland 5, Florida Atlantic 6, Northern Iowa 7, South Dakota State 8, Western Michigan 9, UC Davis 10, Youngstown State 11, DePaul 12, Niagara
Having said that, the Panthers should have fared better against Cleveland State, Wisconsin, Portland and Florida Atlantic.

For what it's worth, Wisconsin, CSU, Portland, FAU, and UNI are all in the RPI top 54.

According to Pomeroy,
1- 8. @ Wisconsin (L) 2- 34. Marquette (L) 3- 62. Cleveland St. (L) 4- 96. UNI (W) 5- 98. @ Portland (L) 6- 128. @ SD State (W) 7- 138. v FAU (L) 8- 197. WMU (L) 9- 219. v UC Davis (W) 10- 269. YSU (W) 11- 282. @ Niagara (W)
DePaul has a Pomeroy of 211, which would put them between W. Michigan and Cal Davis. Milwaukee is 176.

How in the world did the Panthers beat South Dakota State? I'm watching the game from Williams Arena and the Jackrabbits look really good.
Some games of interest from last night:
Northern Iowa 67 Indiana 62
Florida Atlantic 62 DePaul 71

I was watching the Las Vegas Classic on CBS College Sports HD and UNI beat Indiana and New Mexico to win the title. I saw a bit of the South Dakota St. game when it was tied with 5 mins to go.
That's why some feel like there is hope for the Panthers when they beat UNI & SDST.
