Ken "Cheeks" Ryan, a columnist for the Post, myself, and Assistant Sports Editor Mary Franzen will be stopping around State Street Brats around 5-530. Anyone else going to be in Madison for the game?

Tough score to call, given that Bo Ryan could practically call it now and be off by perhaps 1-3 points. I'll go with 84-63 Badgers, with Bo demonstrating incredible mercy over the last 10 minutes. I could do with very little coverage of this game, given its certain lopsided nature.

if i was Bo i'd do something completely bizarre and not attempt to shoot 1 3-pointer. Why? he doesn't need to. keep any combo of Chappell, Butch and Stiemsma out there at all times and feed the paint every single time. who's gonna stop them really? with the defense we tend to play, Tanner Bronson might have a career day. luckily for us, Jeter is our coach so Bo won't let the score get out of hand.

I think we will see the red light on any treys. I think that they will use this game to establish their paint game and hopefully see how much they can milk the shot clock and be successful.

I think you're dreaming. Yes they will try to pound it in the paint but no way do they nix the three ball.

Unless we shoot 70% from the field, there is no way we win this game. If we keep this game within 15 pts I'll be happy. However, I think we may lose by 20-25 pts. We cannot keep up with UW's big's.

We're at the number 7 team in the country with a legit national player of the year contender, with an upperclassmen-dominated team that runs our own offense better than us with a considerable size difference over us... good lord.
I'm gonna go ahead and file this one under "learning experience."
If they show no mercy this is easily a 30 point loss. Although if the Badgers run away with the game I could very easily see Ryan giving his young guns a lot of PT... not that that will make it that much easier--Bohannon and Hughes are going to be studs.

I hope our guys just keep playing hard because this game is going to get ugly, however I'll still wear the black & gold proud. Here's to coming on this board after the game and eating a little crow. Go Panthers, beat Bucky!

Deficit will be 20+ points, unless Bo has pity on Jeter. Panthers fell last year by six, but that was with a much stronger team, including an effort by Boo Davis, who shot a Kohl Center record seven three-pointers.

The naysayers may be right but I'm not prepared to give up on our Panthers. Yes, beating UW on their home court would be a tall order, but it's not impossible. If North Dakota State could do it last year, we can do it this year.
It will take our best game, and it will take our guys loosening up a bit and believing in themselves but it can be done.
