Me too. BP left us in good shape. Jeter has done the opposite Agreed. Pearl leaving us didn't really hurt the program too much. We lost Walter Williams, but that was about it.

Walter Williams played running back for the Pack. Walt Waters wanted to play for the Panthers. Too bad he couldn't cut it academically, to put it nicely.

I just think there are better guys out there. Guys who might leave us in 3 years, but so is the role of a mid-major program.

Deace also reported that Steve McClain had been hired in 2003, and that was wrong, wrong, wrong. However, CycloneReport.com is saying it's all but a done deal and I don't remember them ever missing on a big story even by a little bit, let alone totally screwing the pooch like Deace. Steve Deace, a publisher at cyclonenation.com says according to a reliable source Jeter will be hired at Iowa State in just a mater of time. This comes to no surprise as Pollard has connections with him. He is determined to do anything to make Iowa State basketball what is once was. Even if it means paying all the money for the buyout.

I've been to Jack Bennett basketball camps. He is not going to win us much more than a conference title. I don't see recruiting ability with him either. Dunlap will win more but Dunlap will be gone faster.
This sucks. Any stories or thoughts about how getting Robb was great for the program because he was going to stay, recruit and build us have just went down the tubes. Like I said previously, he was never and will never be a Panther. I understood why Bruce left. It sucked but I never blamed him. I don't like Robb one bit for this.
If it hasn't been said yet, I predict Iowa State is not going to be good at basketball.
