The only thing that scares me about the Iowa State situation is that Pollard knows the truth about Jeter. He knows RJ recruited most of those seniors while here under Bo Ryan, he knows what RJ did at Wisconsin as well.
He will decide what to do based on what he knows and not what some misinformed fan posts on a forum.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but recruiting as an assistant is very different than recruiting as a head coach. Yes, Jeter recruited 2 of the Seniors I believe, but that was as an assistant. I think there are some big differences from recruiting as an assistant -- being told who to go after, and recruiting as a head coach -- figuring out who to go after, formulating a plan for all the players, formulating backup plans as you likely won't get all your recruits, etc.

Jeter was more than an Assistant at UW, he was an Associate Coach. As such I think he was more heavily involved in the things you mention than an Assistant would be.
