Lou, you taking my idea from the other night that we are going to be an 11 seed?

The latest bracketology has UWM #13 vs Tenn #4 in Jacksonville. I have a feeling this is going to be our game. Plus the way Tennessee has been playing I would welcome this first round matchup. After watching many conference tournament games and losing many bets I would like to see either Tennessee, West Virginia or GW across the line from us. Obviously GW would be ideal, but I think we could beat all 3.

The bracketology is almost always wrong. Last year they had us as a 13 or 14 seedout west and we were a 12 in Cleveland. I don't want to play TN. Pearl knows everything about this team and its players.

In my opinion Xavier beating St. Joes helps us slightly bc St. Joes' tough schedule would have helped them had they made the tourney. Also, while I agree with PantherLou...I'm afraid that teams getting seeds 11-13 are so similar this year we could almost expect anything...11 would be a stretch though

The 12 seeds will be: Texas A&M, Cal, San Diego St. and Milwaukee. Had Wyoming won last night's MWC tournament championship and knocked the Aztecs off the bubble, UWM would have been an 11.

Xavier winning last night helped I think ... they will be seeded below UWM.
Here's what ESPN (Lunardi) and CBS (Doyel) have right now at the 4, 5 and 6 seeds:
ESPN (UWM at a 13) 4 - Tennessee, Florida, LSU and Iowa 5 - Syracuse, West Virginia, Kansas and George Washington 6 - Michigan State, Oklahoma, Washington and Georgetown
CBS (UWM at a 12) 4 - Illinois, Florida, Gonzaga and Kansas 5 - Syracuse, Nevada (wow! not so sure about that), Washington and Tennessee 6 - Michigan State, West Virginia, Oklahoma and UAB (double wow! most have UAB on the bubble)

Here's what my choices for a first-round draw would be (based on that unbelievable seeding of Nevada):
1, George Washington (injured, untested and vulnerable) 2, Nevada (would prefer not to play another mid-major) 3, West Virginia (an uptempo version of Butler?) 4, Tennessee (struggling down the stretch) 5, Washington (not as good as a year ago with Nate James) 6, Kansas (likely still smarting from loss to Bucknell) 7, Syracuse (just seems like the Orange has magic touch)

I really hope we get Gonzaga, there is no doubt in my mind we would win. They are one of the most overrated teams in the nation. We would have a problem with Batista but I am sure AVO could shut down Morrison.

As overrated as Gonzaga might be, Morrison most certainly is not.

Uhhh..No.
The team I want to play the least is Iowa. Too big up front and they have some deep gunners. They played in the toughest conference. The are a pretty crappy road team however.
Give me WVU. They can shoot the ball, but have zero inside presence. They would have no answer for Tucker and Tigert and with the way we shut down the perimeter vs Butler (Crone as the exception), I think we would be in good shape.

Umm...There is not one player in the country that can stop Morrison. I'll take Iowa over WV in a heartbeat. But give me GW over anyone on that list of 7 above.

I really don't want to see Iowa. Horner, Haluska, Brunner, and Thomas.... geeze I don't want to play that. I don't view Alford as a great coach, but they still are a top/the top team in the Big Ten. Give me an SEC team please.
