I would guess a 12 seed--I think our run last year helped. However, we have lost 4 of our last 10 games, which is something that the committee looks at. The committee also factors in injuries and AT was a big part of why we lost a few of those games. I would be surprised if we got a 13, especially with some of the teams getting auto bids that should seeded below us.

I think it has to be a 12...the committee will look at last year's success, compare it with the fact that we still have all those seniors, add on the fact that we pounded Butler, and there may be some team from the A-10 now with a not so hot record to be put into a 13 or 14 slot.
In reality, a 13 isn't too much worse than a 12 because we'll be playing the winner of the 12-5 game anyway in the second round. Historically though, the odds favor the 12 seeds.

I think we are good for a 12 too, but agree it really does not matter much if you are a 12 or 13. It is all about the draw in you get more than the seed. I think this year the only safe high seeds in weekend one are the 1 and 2 seeds. The major conferences are a bit weaker than normal and there are some very solid mid-majors that I think people will find out about next week.

I have been updating my bracket and as of now I see UWM as a 13

no way in hell does UWM get a 13. I would love to say that UWM should get an 11, but based on Horizon league historic seedings and last years success and UWM's seed then, I think we are looking at a 12.

Hate to say it, but last year's success doesn't (and shouldn't) matter one bit for our seeding this year. Based on what's happened so far in conference tourneys, we're looking like a 12 or 13 and at this point, more likely a 13.

How is it no way in hell? Look at the other teams in the tourney, not to mention the amount of at-large teams from major conferences. 13, hate to say it, but believe it, especially with the amount of upsets in conference tourneys

Keep in mind that it's not just what we did or didn't do it's also what other teams did (or didn't do)
There's a lot of pressure on the NCAA right now from the mid-majors and from the majors. The majors want the Selection Committee to overlook the high rpis of mid majors that didn't get their conference autobid. Hell the Colonial Athletic Association has three schools that should get in based on RPI. The majors would leave out schools like Hofstra and MO State and leave in fifth and sixth place teams from their conferences.
The mid-majors of course want as many in as possible. This COULD lead to some compromise where more mid majors get in but they get lower seeds. And when you think that alot of these schools had big wins against major schools and we didn't, plus we lost to GB on the road and to UIC on our home court late in the season, it's hard to imagine getting a 12.

I think that those that think the committe will not consider what this team did last year are fooling yourselves. They can deny all they want, but they know and it likely will be a factor. If we get a 12 that is why, because nothing else this team did points to them being higher than 13.

we're likely one of if not the top 13 seed right now. debating wether its gonna be a 12 or 13 is worthless. im fine with either really although i would have liked that GW matchup which isnt happening now

I think they will consider last year but it won't be enough to get us a 12, although it may be enough to get us some place where we can drive to.

I agree...I think last year put us on peoples' radars and that should influence our seeding...I'm feeling a 12 seed. This is would be nice, but don't worry, should The Pearl's of Tennessee loose their tourny...and we get a 13 spot...we could be playing TN. What would be greater than watching UWM take down the volunteers???
Ps... During the Butler game I finally had hope for Jeter and his silly swing
