it's a tough loss but the season is not over, at least it's not north dakota state the team and all here need to re-group there's a big nationally telivised game saturday time to start a new home court win streak a little help from butler would be appreciated but there's no reason this team can't go on the road and win the conference tourney. sure it would be much better to have it at the cell but if it doesn't happen that's life.
the lost art of the free throw is a killer; does anyone who was at the game know what jeter was so hot about when he got the T, was it something in particular or just a culmination of bad calls?? I thought maybe he noticed a cheap shot or something that pissed him off.

FYI...
Jeter's technical was called because Jeter was screaming for an injury timeout...
gotta love the HL refs... wonderful

Tigert got hammered on what should have been a charge. I don't know if he was screaming about that or the time out they didn't call. He shoulda just taken a time out and then asked for it to be an injury time out instead of getting a T over it.

No one can say anything about the officiating, when UWM gets to the line over 30 times, and makes 58% on the game the blame falls on their shoulders.

The guy isnt all bad in his basketball play by play... it is all of the bush league comments, and ragging on players (current and past) that he does. UWM and the league deserve better... it's not about a bitter loser here...
Surely you guys have to recognize is immaturity, and unprofessional approach. If you are ok with having something like this, than so be it, but I'd expect this from a High School (small school at that) not a Division 1 program that has experienced some success...

I've got news for all Butler fans. We really don't care if you like our announcer or not!
I think he's hilarious. He says what everyone is thinking. I was laughing my arse off when he was ripping on Stefanov.
If you guys don't like it, turn down the sound. Its that little knob attached to your speaker. I'll give you a hint....turn it counter clockwise and the noise goes away.

Hey Butler fans, let me know when you guys get accepted to the Ivy League. Who can we get as an announcer that will please you? Because of course, that's our goal.

Oh Please...Bill Johnson puts some humor into his broadcast which quite frankly makes it more enjoyable. His nicknames for the players is out of humor and affection. If you don't like it, remember there is a mute button, and make sure to use it.

Does anybody know what the deal was at the half? No warm-ups...running out after the buzzer?? Was Jeter going off in the locker room, or was he trying to send a message to the officials?

No one can say anything about the officiating, when UWM gets to the line over 30 times, and makes 58% on the game the blame falls on their shoulders. Could we have won the game despite really horrible officiating, by the same crew I'm told that's reffed 3 of our four conference losses? Yes Does that excuse their lame calls, lack of calls etc? No. I've never heard the crowd at the Cell boo the refs like they did last night. Even quite a few of the season ticket holders were joining the students in the Bullsh*t chants. A friend of mine in Madison was watching the game on the net and called to tell me he couldn't believe how bad they were. Bottom line sending us to the line 30 times when we should have been there 50 times, is not what I consider good officiating.

We cannot blame this loss on the refs, no matter how bad their officiating was.
We had no answer for the zone defense UIC put on us. We need an answer. Chris played like crap, AT played hurt so was not effective, Joah is on crack with those crappy shots, and Boo did all he could.
We have GOT TO STEP UP! No way we should have lost that game. UIC was ready to implode...we should have helped them do it. We didn't, so here we are.

This loss isn't on the refs. Bad calls went against us, but UIC took some pretty crappy calls too. We should have overcome this stuff, but we didn't.
Last nights loss to UIC and today's weather are further proof of the impending apocalypse.
