Well just remember that while we are kicking ourselves, those guys are too. All we can do is support them and show them that we are all still in it to win it!
GO PANTHERS!

Nohopspanther nailed it on the head.... In regulation, we should have fouled butler so they didn't have an oppurtunity to shoot the three to tie it up... Oh well, we are going to need help by the HL to win this thing out right.....good thing butler has to go on the road @ wright state and @ UWGB within 2 days of each other..then have loyola 3 days later!! That's something that should be on Jeter. The announcers even mentioned it. I don't criticize him much. I don't understand his subs half the time but the fould should have happened.

Well tough loss to a good team on their home court, would've really like to have that one though a couple talking points for me:
1. that foul on tigert was rubbish, no way that was a foul and no way that gets called in a overtime game.
2. the three pointer at the end of regulation, should've fouled before the shot or at the very least not fallen for the step back, it was a good shot though.
3. joah was a monster all game the tie up hurts, watching him dribble it off his leg ala big dog hurts even worse. it was his game to win and i respect that decision he had a hell of a game otherwise.
4. 18 - 5 advantage on offensive boards, and out rebounded a team 47-23 9 out of ten games you win w/those numbers. had UWM been able to knock down at least one outside shot this game wouldn't have been as close IMO.

It is not for us to understand He knows what he is doing Give the guy a break I would like to understand it as I understand most things in the game of basketball. Very few coaches have ever shown such a strange substitution pattern. I don't even think there can be a reason for it. He came in a no win situation basically with a stacked cupboard Please note that the criticism was of his substitution pattern and not his qualities or performance as a coach. Your point here is unneeded. Detroit v. UIC is on espn2

But I guess you are supposed to let Boo continue to shoot the three when he's cold. He's cold and I get it but seriously. Why keep chucking up the threes when they aren't needed? Points in the paint, points in the paint. Nice turnover Chris. I'm not saying to let him keep shooting. I was frankly pointing out how the lack of an outside game was the main reason why UWM lost this game. Sorry, that wasn't directed toward you. I was just making a statement more or less. They should have quit bombing the three when there were like 0-8 or 0-9. Those last two attempts by Boo were in horrible taste, IMO.

From a Butler alum ... great game. It was a huge win for Butler and students storming the floor is a sign of respect to UWM. As pointed out, Butler's remaining schedule looks tougher than UWM's with trips to WSU and UWGB remaining. Personally, I enjoy this rivalry and respect the program the UWM has built.

Even though we came out on the loosing end, it was a great game to watch (but for our 3 point shooting, of course). I was alot more upset about the GB and WSU losses than this one.
Congratulations to Butler!

I really have to say nice job to Bulter. That fade away 3 pointer with a guy in his face was amazing. I'm sure I'll have nightmares about that shot tonight. I'm looking forward to another good game with you guys in the tournament in Milwaukee or at Butler. Best of luck until then.
