It's worth noting that one of the things Jeter said we were going to do was force them to shoot from beyond the three point arc. He said he thought they wouldn't be as good out there. It seems to have worked.

I saw you at the end of the game from my seats, where I was busy wiping the blood away from my nose. "Cocaine's a hell of a drug"

Ridiculous quote from Bo Ryan in the JS...
"Fortunately they were at home..." in reference to playing a lot of games in a short period.
Fortunately??? Hey Bo, newsflash: You are ALWAYS at home.

Just got back from Madison about five minutes ago.
Last night's game was an absolute treat and I was proud to hoist the banner with Holic as the buzzer sounded. However, we should've won. It was great to hear from Mike Poll that Jeter was very upset about the outcome. High expectations are a must for our program.
I really think we'd win this game in the Cell.
Best moment of the night: The UW student section chanting "BADGER REJECTS" at our bench... then 2:00 minutes later we have the lead. Classic. We have some serious fight in us this year, the world better start watching.

Bo Ryan is no friend of UWM. If he really wants to support basketball in the state of Wisconsin, then play us at home. Simple.
Go Panthers!
Later, UWMfreak

I say scrap them all together. I don't need UW in my life.
But as along as they are... guys, please come to the Kohl Center. I know it's got to be cool for the team to see gold scattered all over that place. I was really proud of UWM as a whole last night. From players, to our coach, to FlamerImNotOne and uwm6man for giving those un-intimidating UW students hell... to our cheerleaders... everybody. It was a good time. We should bring a lot more next year. Yeah, even you dylanrocks and freak.

I should have been there last night, but between finals for myself and for the classes I teach I just could not make it. The only way I will not be there next year is if my job has me out of the state.
I also look forward to investing in some season tickets next year as I will no longer be a student and for all games I can not attend plan to give to co-workers to get the word out about our team.

4 for 1. We do have a home game against them.
UW doesn't stand to make any money coming here than they do going away.
And seriously, if the selection committee never cared that UW played tougher games away or home, and gave them favorable seeding anyways, would YOU want to play tougher away games?

I think UW gets shafted on their tourny seeds more than they get a favorable one. Just look at the fact they need to earn their way into the top 25 every year almost. But thats just my opinion.

Yeah they may get shafted in the seedings but they get the best whistle in the country every night

Could be that's one reason for the shaftings.
I think it's a mistake to say Bo isn't a friend of college ball here. Unlike a certain other coach he at least plays us and we DID have a good chance to win that game.
Keep in mind that he doesn't have to play us here or there. Most majors are going to be willing to play us on their court but not on ours EVER.

Panther fans have to remember, Bo doesn't need UWM. They need the Badgers.

UWM does not need the badgers either. But in state games are fun for the fans and Bo knows that and supports the games. But he is not stupid either and will take as many home games in the series as he can get.
