Having two 20 win seasons in a row starting from scratch isn’t a fluke, it’s a trend. We came up just short, but what a great season.
Extend Bart now! In Bart we trust.

Fun, weird season. Disappointed with the result tonight but a lot to build on for the future. We have a lot coming back if everyone decides to stay. A portal PG is a necessity along with a reliable perimeter shooter.
Thanks to the Seniors: Gelo, DHam, Langston and Pierce. Thanks to the underclassmen who played through injuries, adversity and still gave the program a chance to make the NCAA Tournament.
Going to be an interesting offseason. Is it November yet?

Well said. I’m sad Gelo got hurt. He deserved to play tonight, and we could have used him. Future is bright. Chin up.

Posting this here again because it’s relevant.
As much as I’m pissed at how this game was played/coached. I’m very happy we are in a spot where I am disappointed in back to back 20 win seasons and being one win away from the dance. Bart, thank you for making us relevant again, what a hire by AB(credit where credit is due). Love this teams hustle/heart, get Gruber to stroke some NIL checks and keep this team together and we are punching our ticket next year.

Yes, thank you to the seniors. Obviously there is a lot to be said for the contributions Ham, Wilson, and Stuart made on the court, but they seemed to be great leaders off the court. And I want to make sure that it is mentioned that when Pierce Spencer learned that he was going to be out for the year, it could have been so easy for him to not be a part of this team, but he stayed with the team throughout the year. I want to make sure he gets a lot of credit too for his contributions in what must have been a difficult year for him.

We must work as a fanbase to grow our season ticket base. The price is fair. The team needs more support.

I want to believe the athletic department will actually promote the hell out of the program with this momentum, but... For the last 10 years, it feels like they do nothing but the exact opposite. Just the bare minimum marketing push, one time token promotions, single meek student rally, and that's it.
I want to think it'll change but until it actually happens....

The goal was to compete for the conference title. The regular season was a big miss but they still ended up SO close. The turnover this offseason will be interesting but I'm remaining optimistic.
Thank you to the seniors and inevitably departing players!
If we're going to extend Lundy, who still has three years on his current deal, they need to increase the buyout. High majors will pay it if they want him so there's no need to lowball it.

Still made multiple games but you are right it is much cheaper with the season tickets. Just wish there were some cooler perks.

Not sure what perks one might want? I made it to 14/15 regular season home dates. I do like that you can trade in unused tickets for other games. Nice bring others who wouldn't go on their own. We also this year got two free tickets to one of the final couple of games. Gave them to an older couple who has a Marquette mini plan and never been to a Panthers game. They went to the Green Bay game and enjoyed it.

This isn't aimed at ANYONE, so please don't personal offense, but why do we seem to have so many fans that take a year or two (or 10) away? We NEED all of you guys to bloom and grow. This is intended to be a question and not an accusation. As someone who's gone to games for 34 continuous seasons, I'm dumbfounded by how often i hear this (3 times today). Please help me understand.

One suggestion I would have is to offer fan buses to away games. Maybe a package deal like $100 plus ticket costs for a couple of pre-selected games like Green Bay, Oakland, or a non conference game.
We used to fill buses in the past. No reason why it can't be done again.

I'm talking about people who tell me that they literally dropped the team altogether (and in all instances this had nothing whatsoever to do with 2016). I just can't imagine doing this; it's my SCHOOL! Help me understand.

Our university had plenty of sports fans in 1987 and I know for a fact that it still has plenty today, as I own inherited housing very close to campus. What will it take to turn our students/alumni on to Milwaukee Panthers basketball?
