Indeed, pretty short list and most of that was obviously at the very front end and not Baldwin recruits. Of the above I would only rank Bryce as very good , not just "highly average"....gotta love semantics....kind of like "the definition of Is IS"

Agree with Reginald - in fact, VERY average at best even for HL....Tejon, who else? Over the last six years? Nze, Bell, Stull, Prahl ... Prahl? Nze I will give you, but I saw him play in the big east the other week live sooooo. This team hasnt had good talent in almost a decade. Theres been a guy here or there but its not good enough. Not even close. I saw both Prahl twins get eaten up against any decent player their entire life.

Problem with the guards, IMO, was some were slashers that were made to shoot. Some were just spot shooter, that were made to just chuck up the ball. Guys just kept on leaving after one season. Grant Coleman could have been a solid HL player, yet he left.

Yes almost a decade this team has maybe had a guy or two on the team that I would consider "good" for the league. Talent depth wise theres almost always a couple guys playing minutes that should be in the WIAC. If you think the talent here has been good enough thats a hard pass. I saw multiple high school kids last weekend that would give lots of guys on the team this year work.

I thought that he was a pretty nice player here for two years.

He had his moments...would still consider him average...not in say Nze 's realm...more comparable to Prahl

I know a few people like Petes had some connection to the players. Any word on transfers out or most likely waiting until the coach is hired?

Besides gholston I’ve heard Kyle Ross is gone as well as Vin. I know tafari is going to give it time to see how the coaching selection goes. No news on anyone else though.

I don't know why anyone would leave. There is no one on this team that I would be disappointed to lose. With around 1,000 kids in the transfer portal each year or whatever crazy number it is, I think we can end up with some decent transfers if we hire the right coach.

I do like Newby and Hankock's potential and would like if they stuck around.

Agree with Reginald - in fact, VERY average at best even for HL....Tejon, who else? Over the last six years? Nze, Bell, Stull, Prahl ... I think one argument that can be made is that PBS brought in players with more hype and perhaps better ratings than in previous years. Te’Jon Lucas, Harrison Henderson, and Vin Baker all played at high major programs. If I remember right, Shae Mitchell and a few others have been 3 star recruits. And of course there was that one 5 star recruit. Tiby, Arians, Jordy, and Panoske came here without much hype (from what I remember, at least). McWhorter and Springs were transfers, but from similar programs (not major programs). I guess what I’m saying is that Baldwin may have recruited some talented basketball players who weren’t coached well and who didn’t mesh well together. Or maybe they were just overhyped. But before Baldwin, the players may not have been as talented, but they played well together and were coached better. At least well enough to finish in the middle of the conference most years instead of the bottom.
