The lack of Newby and VBJ yesterday was so bad. JSP couldn't stay with anyone yet PBS kept trotting him out there. I am actually happy I'll never have to watch Gholston play. What a disappointing year from him. This team wins 3 more games if JSP stays in Kenosha.

Don’t mind talking about next year. It seems that is all we do regarding this program. As for next years roster Baldwin has two signees. Brian Taylor 6’4” point guard out of Desmet High School and Dylan Annette, 6’9” from DePaul Prep in Chicago. Both have had very good senior years. I think Vincent Miskiewicz will help with rebounding next year. I like Newby, Hanc***, and Browning. The latter adds quickness and defense but needs to mature. The rest of the team can transfer, go pro, or start producing. Oh yes and we need shooters in the starting lineup and off the bench. As for the administrative stuff it is over my head. Universities across the country are struggling. There needs to be changes in education period.

I don’t pretend to be frustrated with the abysmal brand of basketball displayed this year at The Panther Arena. I do wonder if we have any power to change it. If we do how can it happen in the structure that exists. Many times post have asked for a monied fan to pony up and buyout contracts. Ain’t gonna happen. Fire everyone from the Coach, the players, the AD, the Chancellor, etc. Ain’t gonna happen. Therefore I get through all this by looking ahead. That would include searching for coaches and better players. Five years ago I passed the name Lamont Paris as a candidate for the job. As I recall the response was not another Jeter. It gives me some pleasure to see Lamont doing well. I think Mason Johnson at MATC could have started for UWM this year. The kid could be a flake but I don’t care. It is my way of staying involved without being totally frustrated. I shake my head as much as anyone watching games that we should win with the players we have. I keep going to games because it keeps me connected. What else can I do? Let me know if there is a better way. I will listen. I just don’t believe anger is the answer.

I've followed this program for far more years than I care to admit (hint: like Steve, Fran and some others, it's far longer than our athletics director and her cronies even knew about it) and frankly this is the only outlet to air my complete frustration with its current state. I'm CERTAIN that others here feel the same way. I'll take this opportunity to note that PBS's high-water mark for wins with his own guys is 12! That may not QUITE be Cobbian, but it's chillingly close and as noted elsewhere, Ric didn't ever receive an EXTENSION!!! This guy is now 56-90 and we're supposed to just skip along merrily?!?!

Not skipping along merrily. Do think changes are needed to get this program off the ground. I don’t think it will come from my generation. I graduated in 1973. At this age skipping along goes with the territory. This year it seemed a younger crowd with families attended more games. Not enough but there was a glimpse of future support. I assume some jumped on the PBJ bandwagon. That is not a bad thing. The bad thing is he didn’t play or show things we were expecting but for one game. The good is that he was at UWM for a reason. To help his father get the program off the ground. That is a lot of responsibility for a 19 year 5 Star recruit not surrounded by other 19 to 21 year old 5 Star recruits. Air your frustrations and I hope they makes changes that are positive.

They were the parents of youth groups and/or the halftime performers.

That's an eclectic list of schools. Literally all over the map!

That's an eclectic list of schools. Literally all over the map! Good Riddance he was awful this year. 14 per game on 36 percent from the field. Yuck. A good coach has better players in two years.

To think of some of the talent that has been here in the last 6 years. With some proper coaching.
