It matters to me as a ticket holder with a group of 5. We will not be going to the Klotsche for those games. Basically our season pack is now 12 games.

For the non-Division 1 games, I just don't think it matters. The Klotsche seems like an appropriate venue. Matters to me. My section went up in price and I'm paying a donation to the Panther Fund for my seats at UWM Panther Arena. I could care less if it's Alcorn State or Judson.

Comment on the non-conference home schedule. Regardless of the venue whether arena or Klotsche, this is probably the worst in memory. That being said it is a function of the system more than a fault of our own. Kind of brutal though, of the three regular season non-conference games to venture downtown to the the arena, one is with Trinity (D !! or is it NAIA?. that might as well be at the Klotsche too given the opponent and the other two are freaking Southern Illinois (Edwardsville not Carbondale) and South Dakota...wow....on top of Butler and Loyola no longer part of the schedule being replaced by Oakland and Northern Kentucky...well....all the more reason to hopefuly have some mojo with the team boht in results and style of play...getting Jeter fatigue ...need a jump start...best thing is the arena ..that is outstanding now

Why might Trinity Inter be at the KC? As I said, why is any game at the KC. The Panthers pay yearly rent at the UWM Panther Arena, not per game.
Let's not short change SIU-Edwardsville & South Dakota, since they beat the Panthers last season.

With 91 league victories, Rob is now the third-winningest coach in Horizon League/MCC history, trailing only Perry Watson (131 wins) and Jimmy Collins (109).
Just something to think about.

Rob's performance is always fair game for discussion, but it's almost completely disconnected from the scheduling issues. In fact, one of the scheduling problems we have this year is that better teams don't want to play us because they see what our team has and they know Rob is a veteran coach. But fundamentally this is a structural problem in college basketball. Look at Valpo's success the last couple years. Now look at their home schedule. Anyone who thinks that when a midmajor establishes success, it will result in big name (or even medium name) teams agreeing to play them at their home is entirely misunderstanding the college basketball landscape right now.

The fact that those dates are open is ridiculous.

There is no reason or good reason why the two games are being played at the KC. The point he is making that if your not going, your season pack is down to 12 games. If you pay and have the tickets, you might as well go.
