I'm cool with it! That's when I get out of work.

I'd love to see that game played at 10!

I don't understand why any game this year is at the KC. The Panthers pay per year rent, not per game. My statement from last month is incorrectly stated. Panthers pay per game at UWM Panther Arena.

The Panthers will host Chicago State at 1 p.m. on Nov. 7 in their secret scrimmage.

I don't mean to pile on after not posting in awhile, but what's with this schedule? 2 NAIA teams? Give me a break, What a joke. I understand there are issues for mid-majors getting games, but come on.

Really??? Why isn't Marquette playing us this year? We're right across the street. Couldn't find the phone number?

Haha, I have no idea but I would rather play the game then most of the other non-cons we have! I mean aren't you frustrated with this schedule?

I'm frustrated with the whole system, including the cutthroat mindset of the big boys, lack of cooperation between mid-major leagues and lack of foresight from our commissioner.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but bring back the bracketbuster event.

Ghost, why aren't you frustrated with your own schedule makers and administration? The climate has always been similar to what it is now, but those factors never resulted in a schedule like this. no?

A challenge series with similar leagues. A five-round mid-major champions tournament. Expand our own league. Something. Anything!
If no changes are made, we're soon going to see more -- not fewer -- non-Division 1 opponents.

Well, our coaches called over 100 programs for games this year and got exactly as many responses for a home game as they started out with: zero. No one will play us here.
Leagues like the MVC, Mountain West, A-10 and Big East are interested in scheduling wins and leagues like the SWAC, MEAC and Southland are interested in getting paid.
Now mid-level leagues like the MAC and CAA are throwing money at lower-rung schools from leagues like the Summit and Big South in an effort to buy home wins.
Our administration mandates that the team plays at least 13 home games per season. Where does that leave us? With Trinity International and Judson.

If you don't think the climate has changed, look at the schedules for the other Horizon League teams. EVERY team has to play D2 opponents because it has become almost impossible to get higher majors to agree to play on the road. The higher major teams are all so afraid of losing to a mid-major because of the tournament and fan implications that they will only agree to schedule them away from home (if at all) on the most egregious terms -- 3/4/or 5 game home to away scenarios. So instead they subject their paying customers to horrible games against the 300+ RPI dregs of D1 while the mids are left to play D2s to fill their home schedules. It's utterly frustrating for the fans of both highs and mids. This is what TV and the NCAA tournament have wrought.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but bring back the bracketbuster event. I completely agree. I was against the event going away from the beginning. I loved the bigger match ups it gave the better Mid-Majors every year. It may not have been the best system for getting games, but it gave us a lot better games than we are getting now. I don't see that changing much in the future either with the way the landscape of college basketball is currently going.

Two games coming up this month for the Panthers, as South Dakota won at Minnesota 85-81.
