Sorry you feel that way.
Can I have your season tickets? You obviously don't want them.
We'll pull over so you can get off the bandwagon.

You're weak sauby, not faith. You're jumping ship like the UIC and Butler fans when they had losing seasons this year. We lose star players year in and year out and still manage to progress to the top each season. Not to mention when Bo Ryan left. Can't blame him for leaving, those were some big figures being thrown out. Money talks, and in those quantities it will talk to all of us!

Hmm.. interesting. I think there is a big difference here.. we at Butler endured 3 coaches in 4 years, and after the 3rd coach the program declined and everyone is now wondering if the right decision was made. I dont think that you can say that Butler fans are "jumping ship".
I'd say that those who are upset have reason to be - as Pearl bolted without really handling the situation in what some would consider to be the "right way". Not to mention he does have the history of being a bit un-trustworthy, this only adds to that reputation.
Its cool however you choose to take all of this change - But just remember, its all about who's coming in next, because Pearl and his assistants will never be back!

Hack...you can stop kissing BP's ass. He's gone now. No more need for you to suck up.
He made a good business decision. I will not argue that fact.
He also lied like a used car salesman. "It would take a blockbuster deal", "I'm not a nomad", "I love milwaukee and so does my family, and I don't want to uproot them", "I could see myself finishing my carreer in Milwaukee", "I'm not the kind of guy looking to 'climb the ladder'", "It's not about money".
I could probably go on for about an hour with things he said that were total crap.
The truth is he is as slick as they come, shrewd, and willing to say almost anything to further his cause.
While he made the right decision from a business standpoint, he did it like a slick lying salesman and jerked us all around in the process.
Good luck to him at the worst basketball job in the SEC.

As a lifelong UWM fan, I have no ill feelings towards Bruce. Once the Tennessee job opened, it was a possibility for him, no doubt. Those of you saying he lied, I challenge you to tell me what he should've said. I actually give him credit for handling things the way he did, since he never took attention away from his team. If he would've said any different, that's exactly what would've happened. The national media was pretty much penciling him in for the Tennessee job, yet when asked about it, he promoted UWM. There's no way I can complain about that.
Also, for those of you who think Bruce only did this for the money, seriously, where would you rather be coaching, in the Horizon or the SEC? In a 10,500 seat nice arena that averages about 5,000 fans, or a 27,000 seat arena in a storied athletic program? The Tennessee job provides Bruce with exceptional challenges, similar to those that he faced when joining UWM. Build a program. Bring in more fans. And, unlike UWM, he has the chance to potentially becoming a national championship contender. I'm not saying it's going to happen for sure, but the possibility is there if the right pieces fall in place.
I wish Bruce nothing short of greatness. He did a wonderful job here. We should all be thankful for what he did.

I don't mind him taking the money. It is a big raise. He did want to get ahead- Ambitous. The ordeal at Iowa was a little about that, doing what it takes to get ahead.
I just don't like how quickly it happened. Thursday morning we are excited about playing IL. Monday Pearl has a new job. Too quick in my mind.
I wonder if he gets the job if we don't shoot 50 percent from the arch in the first round of the tourny. We had a good year but we were on fire the first two games.
Bo left, it was a good move for him. Pearl leaves it is a good choice for him.
Go Panthers. Root for the Uniform not the coach.
