We seem to be 10 deep with guys who could start on any night. It's going to be interesting how Bart manages the lineup, ego and crunch time minutes. I see for a normal 5, this is likely the group Bart goes with. Pg: Fulks Sg: McKee Sf: Pratt Pf: Stillwell C: Fields A lineup replacing Themus with KP and sliding Pratt to PG gives us the best offensive production. Lovelace and Learic are going to be an athletic terror of a duo on defense. Absolute floor tilters on defense. My biggest takeaway is the chemistry of the team. They all seem to like one another which couldnt be said the previous 2 years. And no one shooting by themselves on one end or sitting down on the floor when things were going on. I think you have to start KP over Fulks. Aside from his 2 other years here, you need his shooting to space the court, and he competes defensively and plays hard overall. Fulks doesn't bring enough to the table IMO to override all of that and just in general complete non shooters at PG are AWFUL for team offense.

Agreed would be weird to me if KP doesn't start. Maybe fulks is better then i expect but im very whelmed by what I have seen from him so far. With BJ out last year KP and Pratt played really well I expect to see more of that. Really hope we see a much improved defense and not needing to sit in zone so much as we did last season. Think we likely see some addition by subtraction on that end of the floor.

Fulks started in all 63 games at Louisiana. 34 on a team that made the NCAA tournament. I'd honestly be shocked if he doesn't start. In every interview, Bart has made mention of having a true PG for the first time. He also has a long history with Themus dating back to recruiting him in HS.
There might be a chance we go 4 guards and Faizon depending on matchup.
Bart has a lot to juggle but I'd say its a good problem to have.

I’d personally be shocked if Stillwell doesn’t start every game. I’m hearing he has the most NBA scouts coming to see him, and he looks to be a tenacious rebounder. Him alongside Faizon will be the best front court in the HL, hands down.

Bart told us at an August practice that his "toughest decision is what to do with the four senior guards." Take it for what it's worth.

You mean the year he led his conference in turnovers? and the season he had EFG% of like 41 percent or something? We lost our two biggest turnover machines from last year hoping this years team values the rock more. Hard for me to be super hyped about a PG who scores at and inefficient rate and turns the ball over alot. Fulks has a turnover rate about the same as Browning had in his time in Milwaukee...

My thing is, if you actually look at Fulks production on court, its flat out BAD. And this isn't debatable or something that can be up for argument. Objectively Fulks was really bad in a lot of ways. Look at his absolutely horrific efficiency. He should literally never, ever shoot a shot of any kind on the basketball court unless its a wide open layup with no defenders within 5+ feet of him. He's so awful at scoring the ball that it's really tough to justify putting the ball in his hands whatsoever even if it's just to dribble the ball past half court and then pass it when you have other options at guard, the opportunity cost is immense.

I'm just quoting what he said. I guess we will find out as the season goes. Start at 6:15 below.
