I was told today by a friend down here that they "love to beat us as much as the Cardinals and Mets." Evidently, there was some tampering with the roof by the Brewers?!

Allegedly, not evidently.
Don't they know mother nature is a Brewers fan?😉

The Crew manages to score three runs against a left-hander. Up 3-1 after six innings.

It's a long season, but it was painful to watch those (bleeps) sing and dance their way out of Am Fam Field last night.

With the series split with Chicago, the Brewers head into a three game home series with division leading Cincinnati before the All Star break. The Reds are up two games in the standings.

Reds are 23-6 starting with their last game against the Brewers. They are 18-3 in their last 21 road games. Time to cool them off!

Today is an example of umpiring at its worst. Officious and confrontational.

Consecutive 1-0 wins over the Reds have pulled the Crew back into a tie for first place.
Burnes was incredible. 13 Ks. He had 10 through the fifth inning, and didn't look like he was going to get through the inning because of the heat and humidity. Gets through it and then comes back out and strikes out the side in the sixth to finish his outing.

50 wins with 70 games to play. the .543 winning percentage puts them on pace for 88 wins. the brewers currently lead the seasonb series with the Reds 6-2, one more win would clinch the season series and the tiebreaker if the two finish tied for the division. Remember theres no game 163 anymore, which is beyond dumb. why should a series in April screw you over come October? have the Monday after the regular season ends be used for the game 163s, for divisions, or one of the wild card spots, if necessary.

brewers rally to complete the sweep 4-3. are now 2 games up in the division. Gave up their first runs in the last four games. Three game shutout streaks don't come along that often. Let's see the Crew keep up the momentum starting Tuesday night in Philadelphia. The Phillies have a similar record to the Brewers. Then the Brewers are back at home against the Braves and the Reds.

the brewers arent that far out of the second spot in the NL either. right now they are 2 games behind LA. its pretty clear the Braves are going to be the top seed and get 1 of the 2 byes.

Atlanta has played 92 of 162 games; they have 70 left. I think it's pretty hard to argue that they've locked anything up.
They do have the largest lead of any division leader in MLB at this point of the season.
Brewers fans have recent experience with late season collapses, though.
