More signs of the Panther's Upward Trend.
I stopped a Kwik Trip today. Had my Panthers sweat shirt on. The guy behind the register said "Go Panthers." I mentioned the YSU game coming up and he responded that he can't wait. Then another customer said "I hear they're doing really good this year."
When is the last time you heard people talking about the Milwaukee Panthers in the middle of the day at a gas station?
Even better, the Journal Sentinel website has headers on its online sports page. They were the Badgers, Packers, Brewers, Bucks, MU and Preps. Now the Panthers have a header right next to the Golden Eagles.
It is perhaps a small thing but it's a sign that people are taking note.

I'm getting it every day. Parts drivers, customers, my regional boss, anyone sees my Pounce bobblehead they mention how well we're doing this year. People are aware of the team that have never so much as acknowledged Panther stuff when I've had it out or worn it in the past.
We just gotta figure out how to get these people to come downtown.

It's going to be a slow build, but with Bart doing radio shows and local news interviews what seems like twice a week, we're getting more exposure out there.
Also, a sports apparel & item store in West Allis, The Green 'N Gold Zone, is moving to a bigger store location in Greenfield in the spring, prob within the next 2-3 months, and I've talked several times with the owner, and she said, without me even asking or prompting, that she'll have Panthers apparel available then.

I’m hearing a lot of good things from people around me who didn’t believe in the Panthers a mere two months ago. A lot of them have expressed interest in attending future games as well. We need as much help as we can get from our fans for this March madness push. I’ll take them all, as long as they are loud and rowdy at home!

We have to push the Cleveland State Game now. Start talking it up. It could be for the HL Title.

We have to push the Cleveland State Game now. Start talking it up. It could be for the HL Title. Too bad we cant push both home games the last weekend as we are stuck in a highscool gym for 1 of them. Is it too late to move the game downtown still? |

We can at least push for more students for the game at the KC. We can suck it up with this for the rest of this season. If the hype for the team continues to be built, the request for tickets can be so much higher, the team will have to keep all their games at the Arena. |

My sister has an area for the Panthers in her classroom. The players have also come out to visit the kids.
One of her student's family has come out to 2 games so far and are already talking about getting season tickets for 4 next year. It definitely works.
