it has probably been 10 years since we had a stretch like this, outside the 2014 horizon run. yes we've been THAT starved for good vibes in this program. if we can keep winning consistently, this is going to be a 20+ win team. given how utterly crap the Horizon is, theres no chance at an at large, we have to get the auto bid, and hope that we arent a 15. In 8 games, Coach Lundy has already tied the longest win streak the previous regime tallied in its five years. I won't get into odds of surpassing this somewhat meager win streak total with the next game, but Coach's old, D2 team had their way with GB a couple weeks ago. (as has most everyone else that's played GB) Rand is an absolute freak. I swear he "rolled down the windows" when trying to block a three in the corner. Rolling down the windows is a term used by snowboarders when you hit a jump and get too much air, flailing your arms as if you're rolling down the windows in cars before power windows. Freeman is going to be a matchup nightmare if he can ever get a rhythm on his three point shots. I've followed the team since the 92-93 season and can't remember a team that had six players that could put up fifteen points on any given night. The deepness of potential scoring on this team is remarkable given a new D-I coach and the turnover from last year. The talk of losing Coach is a bit premature at this point. There will likely still be a lot of growing pains from both the players and the coach, but if they rein in those turnover issues, this team could do major damage in the Horizon. Besides, it's a mid major's goal to lose a coach to a "better job" because it means the mid major has had success. People always talk of Zags and Few, but he's one of the rarest occasions for a mid major to keep their coach. For every Few, there are tens of non-Fews, and I'll gladly take a non-Few coach that finds success here than some of the past coaches that found none.

I'm glad I renewed my season ticket this year. I'll be keeping it as long as Bart's here, at least. Out of curiosity how much / easy to get are those. I graduate this spring and will lose my student tickets π Season tickets are pretty easy to get. Prices range from $129/season to $279/season, plus you'd get a 15% alumni discount.

Holy cow, are we good again? I'm glad I renewed my season ticket this year. I'll be keeping it as long as Bart's here, at least. Unless the product is so poor like last year, no reason not too as cost is very low.

In today's environment, I would gladly take 3 years. More that that would be an awesome bonus. Regardless how long he stays, hopefully those in charge now understand the hiring strategy that works here. All of Bart's head coaching stints have lasted at least 5 seasons.

I enjoyed the guy on the bleacher side with his young girl, making the turkey sounds when BostonU/SEMO were on the free-throw line.

"Rand is an absolute freak."
We were in the 8th row last night and I swear that a condor flew over our seats! WOW!!!

Attended all three games. All were very exciting. I actually enjoyed The Klotsche Center. Given that Thanksgiving is a terrible time to schedule donβt have a problem with this event there. Filled, the place would be raucous and loud. I am not saying leave The Panther Arena unless a new Campus facility built, not likely in my lifetime. Improving amenities at The Klotsche is needed for other events scheduled. Food trucks outside and use of entrance to sell Panther and visiting team gear would be great. Put up small hoops for kids. Create a carnival. Sat/Sunday was easy to park as students were gone. Monday to park was hard to come by. The crowd was very poor on Sunday and very bad last night. I can't image a filled KC and were one parks at. Last filled KC was UIC in a HLT game and Davidson. That was years ago now.

Milwaukee now up to 271 in the KenPom rankings. Next opponent UWGB: 358. Milwaukee is now up to 190 in the Sagarin rankings with a strength of schedule of 168. I think Sagarin is a much more accurate indicator this early in the season especially for a program that was as unknown in the preseason as ours. KenPom is still factoring preseason ratings into it's formula. kenpom.com/blog/what-happens-to-preseason-ratings-when-its-not-preseason-anymore/ How could anyone have rated an almost completely new team like the Panthers before the season started? Based on Pomeroy's own explanation of how KenPom rankings work, I do not think it will be as credible until late January when the preseason no longer factors in.

I mean we were told on this board that due to the carnage of the last 6 years, there was little chance of winning basketball from a team of juco, d2 and low major transfers....ππππ
