packers looked great in the first half. second half? they looked like a burning bag of dog poo left on a porch. but they managed to hang on and beat Brady's boys 14-12 and move to 2-1 on the season.

the first half for Aaron Rodgers on Sunday? to call it ' bad' would be charitable but ' abominably wretched ' would be more accurate. still he played like Aaron normally does in the 2nd half, and did enough to get a win in OT. now 3-1. the Packers have moved into a tie for the all-time lead in regular season wins with the Bars, both have 785. Rodgers is now 8 wins from becoming just the 6th quarterback to have 150 wins as the starter. the other 5? Brady, Favre, P Manning, Brees, and Roethlisbergr, all Hall Of Famers , or will be.

pack lose 27-17, in a game that wasnt as close as the final score. at this point, i'd say the Pack will be lucky to win 6 games.

Packers lose 27-17 to fallk to 4-7. 2 more losses would mathematically eliminate them

Time to take a break and admit that the season is over, Nick. It's liberating.

dylan, i've known since october that the season was over. only question is final record. well 2 questions; whether the packers match or break the team record for losses in a season - which is 12 , in 2005.

Packers twitter is all over the place on the topic of how much of this season's offensive struggles are ARod's fault.
Some argue his ego prevents him from sticking to the obvious recipe for success of running as much if not more than passing; others say it's LaFleur's fault as he calls the plays.
Some say the problem is ARod doesn't have receivers to throw to since Adams left. Some say ARod isn't as accurate as he used to be, even allowing for his injured thumb.
Thoughts, anyone? Opinions? Wild guesses?

Wild guesses? We have a talented defense on paper, our offense the same too. I think ultimately it comes down to coaching. Obviously Rodgers has not been as good this year, but throughout the year there's just been a lot of bone head decisions on the coaching end
