Thought this would be a good place to actually start talking about this year's team. Make your starting line ups, playing time, etc, etc, etc.
My Starting Five: Ratliff Browning Freeman Johnson Miszkiewicz

Gelo upper left. Vincent upper right. Vincent, Gelo, Keon, Thomas, Bol, Johnson and Holt bottom left. Vin, Markeith, Keon, Holt, Vincent. Gelo, Snipe, Thomas, Bol, Howell bottom right.
These are my best guesses.

Realistically I think Coach Lundy is hoping for a winning season. For me I think you have to be in the top 4 of the conference and in the Semi final game of the conference tourney this year for me to really say the season was a success. We renewed our tickets this week and im actually excited for hoops season to start back up in the fall.

I will like to see a .500 season, build from there. I hope next year at this time half the team does not go into portal. I would like to see the city of Milwaukee put some backing behind UWM for the upcoming year.

I firmly believe we will have an all conference player, COTY, and make it to the final four in Indy and contend for a ship.

I like the look of this team and have no idea who may be in the starting lineup. I think that may also be a game by game situation as everyone seems talented. Matchups will determine who starts. Also, running and pressing will allow everyone to get minutes. I have watched film on these guys and if we hit on all cylinders we will see records for points broken. I am hoping we are above .500 and peaking at years end. Good coaching can not be overrated. For my starting lineup I am going with Freeman, Johnson, Ratliffe, Angelo, and Edwards.

Everyone wants to see winning. These last five season 10-22, 10-12, 12-19, 9-22, 16-17 have stunk!
Panthers go 19-14, I think many will be doing a happy dance.
That also said, I said in year 2/3, let's give Baldwin his players in to fairly judge. In thge world of the transfer portal, doesn't Lundy almost have to be judged as other than 4 guys, it's his team in year one?

In thge world of the transfer portal, doesn't Lundy almost have to be judged as other than 4 guys, it's his team in year one? Just because these players are almost all Coach Lundy's, doesn't equate to many of them having played in his system for a year or two and having gotten to know the other players over the last year or two. So I'd say it would be unfair to judge Coach Lundy as if he's in his third year. Though, he should be judged more critically than what we used to know of a first year coach as there are very little inherited players. The conference isn't very good at this point. If the players accept the system and play at least on par with as well as we think they can, I think a .500 conference schedule is well within the realms of possibility. I'd expect more softies than blue bloods in the non-conference schedule, so I'd say that an overall winning records could be possible.

Gelo upper left. Vincent upper right. Vincent, Gelo, Keon, Thomas Taylor, Bol, Johnson and Holt (Can't figure out who this is, but it doesn't look like Holt) bottom left. Vin, Markeith, Keon, Holt, Vincent. Gelo, Snipe, Thomas Taylor, Bol, Howell bottom right. These are my best guesses. Corrected a couple of these.

Think the top teams in the league will be Youngstown St, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, and Wright State in some order. Middle tier will be Milwaukee, IPFW, Robert Morris, Detroit and Cleveland St. Holding the conference back in a big way will likely be IUPUI and Green Bay. I think the conference will be better than a season ago, although that isn't saying much of anything. I'd like to think Milwaukee will finish in that top tier, but with an entirely new roster and a pretty solid top tier, I think a conference record over .500 and making some noise in the conference tournament would be a welcome step forward for the program. Of course, I won't really be satisfied with a .500 record and semifinals of the conference tournament, so go win the damn thing!

Agreed. IUPUI and Green Bay are mostly a disaster. Time to focus on winning.
