I think you're all nuts for continuing to push the line of b.s.
The Delicate Genius, much like the Emperor, has no clothes!
You'd have to be the dumbest GM in the NBA to draft him, based on his body of work, and Larry Harris isn't a GM anymore.

I mean hes mocked in the first round almost everywhere right now, the combine will be huge for his draft stock along with workouts. You seem blinded by the hate and maybe he doesnt pan out, but late in the first round guys like PBJ are what you take. sh*t the Bucks took a skinny greek kid with some skills and look how that turned out. PBJ was a complete fail this year but the book isnt closed on the kid yet.

If you want to compare him to Bucks draft picks, he's more like Yi or Joe Alexander. In other words.... Wasted Pick!

Yeah you are clueless about the NBA game if you don't understand drafting guys on potential. Not the mention his NBA role will be entirely different. I dont have to put my job on the line picking the kid, but there will be a team in the first round taking a chance on him. Literally posts just like yours about Giannis all over realgm from that time, but yeah a kid from the 2nd division in Greece putting up super average stats was a cant miss prospect. You act like 19 kids are finished products but I disagree. Did PBJ steal your girl? He dating your daughter or something? Cant imagine hating a kid this bad, you probably the type of dude to throw eggs at prospects houses when they dont sign with your team.

S.O.B. hasn’t bought into PBJ’s hype for several years so he’s actually been very consistent. The Baldwins did nothing to help each other out as Junior committed too late to try to help his dad get a bump in recruiting and Senior didn’t help his son in being a terrible HC. It’s funny how scouting reports always blamed his teammates but never the coaching, like somehow they’re not connected.

Cant imagine hating a kid this bad, you probably the type of dude to throw eggs at prospects houses when they dont sign with your team. He didn't steal anything from me. As 'Holic said, I never bought in. It's everyone that DID buy in that he and his dad stole from, and they've paid the price for it. However, for some of you to continue to buy into the hype on this kid, when the overall body of work tells an entirely different story, is laughable. Giannis was an unknown, no doubt, but the dude has DRIVE TO BE GREAT, and it continues to this very day. You can't scout the heart of a champion. PBJ was, for some reason unbeknownst to me (there's no body of work to support it), handed this "Blue Chip" status by someone, and has just taken it for granted. As I've said previously, I've seen more than a handful of 6'9" guys come through UWM with more visible basketball talent than this kid. I'll compile a list if I have to, but most here know who they'd be.

For the record, you weren't the only one on here who never bought in, as I've always felt the same way. And despite most (but not all) media listings, PBJ is a legit 6'10", but wants to be listed as 6'9" because he is soft, hates contact, and doesn't want to be looked at for post play and would rather stand on the perimeter and take jump shots/3's. His dad even admitted it accidentally once. chippewa.com/sports/college/basketball/men/tough-choice-for-sussex-hamiltons-patrick-baldwin-jr-coach-k-at-duke-his-dad-at/article_3e5fdd48-6ec9-572d-b421-de33de01a158.htmlThere's much to know about Baldwin, starting with his extraordinary pedigree, skill set, maturity and background as a Northwestern ball boy. Plus a little fib. He is not 6-foot-9, as listed. He is taller. After Baldwin led Hamilton to a 29-point victory at Nathan Hale on Feb. 4 in West Allis, he spoke of being 6-9 until his mother, Shawn, chimed in: "How tall are you really?" Baldwin smiled. He got busted trying to pull a Kevin Garnett. "I just like 6-9," he said. "It sounds better." Said his father, Pat: "He's actually 6-10. He just likes to be called 6-9. He thinks maybe they'll put him at power forward or center."

The hype is for a legit 6 10 kid with a nice shooting stroke who moves okay. Thats an elite NBA prospect. If he played good this year hes for sure a top 10 pick the fact he had about as awful a season as he could of and is still being looked at as a first rd pick is based on potential. The NBA reaches on potential greatness every year in the draft. If PBJ figures it out he is a 6ft 10 wing who can shoot the ball. No one is drafting him to be KD just to hit open shots.

I think both you and Spirit of Bruce are right regarding this. He will still be considered, and likely drafted, and he will likely be a bust.

His skill set/potential can be debated for as long as people want to do it but here’s something else, how’s that ankle? Unless that issue is fixed, the rest is pretty irrelevant.

The Baldwins are gone, so the story really doesn't matter now. Tony probably doesn't want to tell it anymore.
