Reassign Amanda Braun to another spot in the university. No need to drop a very public hammer on her by firing her.

She could be a mentor to those needing help in navigating within and surviving an academic bureaucracy without accountability through cunning and manipulative obfuscation, self promotion and managing upward.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like bad chemistry and bad coaching ruined this season's team.
What I do take issue with is the idea that Patrick Baldwin Jr. simply could not play at an elite level (against sub-200 and sub-300 RPI teams???) because "other teams prepared for him so well" or simply because he wasn't playing within anything resembling a normal, structured offense.
I think his ankle never fully healed and it affected his shot and ability to play as well as he expected. Or maybe he just isn't that great of a player at the higher levels... (I like to believe in the former). The notion, that I've been seeing repeated all over social media (Twitter at least) is that PBJ made a horrible decision to play for Milwaukee, and THAT- not his unwillingness or inability to play very good at the college level is why he didn't have the banner season everyone hoped.
In other words, "It's ALL Milwaukee's fault".
Most of us watched every single game this season including many against teams with crappy coaching, and they still had players who managed to play game in and game out and stuff the stat sheet.
Calling this all UWM's or all PBS' fault is just not correct, imo.
There is an ankle problem, or a "compete/fire/fearlessness" problem. I hope that ankle heals and he goes on to an NBA career. But please everyone stop acting like PBJ had a bust college season solely because he was playing for the Panthers.
Dre Gholston had no problem scoring and rebounding lots night in and night out and he was what, a 2* recruit?
Anyhoo.. Just miffed by that notion. It ain't true.

It is not Milwaukee's fault.
It is the fault of whomever took it upon themselves to label the kid a NBA prospect in the first place.
He is not, and proved it.
It is unbelieveable how long I've stood alone on this, but I know I will be proven right, no matter how long it takes.

His decision to play at Milwaukee was terrible in every way except that he wanted to play for his Dad, which I completely respect. Otherwise, it made utterly no sense, and unfortunately it played out exactly as I feared it would. I explained this in March of last year on the board but unsurprisingly in the deluded hysteria surrounding his recruitment and commitment nobody wanted to face the facts that it was an experiment preordained to fail.
I wish him success next year whether it's in the pros or at a better program. A much, much, much better program, obviously.

I think it’s more likely he’ll go pro, but Evanston would actually be a good landing spot if he doesn’t. He’d be at best fourth fiddle in Madison, and he plays the same position as Tyler Wahl, who wouldn’t be a bad preseason choice for All-B1G if not POTY. I have to believe PBJ would want to go someplace that would feature him.

Most mock drafts have him taken just outside of the Top 20 at this point. I don't know if transferring would help his cause unless he just goes off next year or decides to stay a couple of years. I think his best bet might be coming out this year, but who knows.

I think his ankle was never fully healed from HS. He came to Milwaukee, to hide that fact.
He rolled it again, and it never healed. Now, if he was playing at a power 5 school, they would be pushing for him to contribute and play. Here, with his dad as the coach, he was let off the hook.
