His shooting % wont matter.
This whole team is junk, so they will see that, plus he hadnt played in weeks. I mean just line up the excuses.

PBJ is now shooting 27% from 3 between FIBA, AAU and NCAA. Are we sure he’s even a good shooter? FYI, Gordon Hayward shot 29.4% from 3 as a sophomore in 2010, which was the year he was drafted ninth overall by the Jazz. Now the circumstances are certainly different, as Gordon started 37 games for a national championship runner-up, but the point is that the NBA has been known to draft far more on potential than production at least since Dirk Nowitzki (see: Antetokounmpo, Giannis). Gordon Hayward wasn’t drafted just because he was a shooter which is what pbj is. Gordon Hayward actually got to the rim in college shooting 70% at the rim compared to Baldwin who has only taken 26 shots at the rim all year. GH also shot double the fts per game as well so another example of an element to his game. Was haywards Motor ever questioned when he took his team to the national championship game?.. I don’t believe so. GH was drafted because he’s a complete play. PBJ will be drafted because “he's an elite shooter” which he hasn’t shown at all outside of hs basketball.

Fair points and Gordon certainly wasn't the best comparison. In terms of his pre-NBA production, Giannis would be. In any case, don't be surprised if PBJ is drafted in the Top 15 and isn't in a much better place in two years than we are!

Does your bio name have anything to do with Dylan Page's missed 1-foot bunny against Notre Dame in the tourney years ago?

I so look forward to a day I hope not long from now when we have swept the anchors out of the Pavilion weighing down the program and we can all agree with Mr. Z:

GoD brought up an interesting thought today. He told me, "If it wasn't for the board, there would be no reason to stay with this program another minute." He's right. Without coming on here and mixing it up with you guys, no matter how much it seems like beating my head against the wall most of the time, I could easily walk away from this trash and never look back. What is there to hang on to from a basketball standpoint? I'll stand by my comment to SoB, strongly encourage anyone who needs a sensitive ear that this is a safe place to air our grievances (at least until they shut us down again) and advise just as strongly that administrative change is required to right this sinking ship. If you think that we can't lose our D-1 program, look up "UWM athletics circa 1980." Further, I'll remind everyone here that our 10-year lease with the Wisconsin Center District expires in June, 2023.
