We’re guaranteed 8 more games of this bullsh*t. Everyone qualifies for the tournament, right?

We’re guaranteed 8 more games of this bullsh*t. Everyone qualifies for the tournaments, right? Yes, but you see this is what gives us our big chance for the spectacular finish. We are now 7-17, but all we have to do is sweep the remaining 7 regular season games, then sweep four in the HLT, then win the NCAA play-in game. Then we can afford to lose the "second" round game and still finish the season with a fabulous winning record of 19-18! Take that, doubters! Who's with me!? Victor?

Time for my weekly email to our “athletic director” to express my dissatisfaction with our “coach.”
At least it’s therapeutic.

Anyone got a connection on cheap airfare tickets to N'Awlings? Direct flight from Mitchell? In all seriousness, can't we just surprise ourselves and reel off oh- 4-5 in a row when it counts? If PBJ finds his shot in this homestand, good things could happen in March..

PBJ is now shooting 27% from 3 between FIBA, AAU and NCAA. Are we sure he’s even a good shooter?

GoD brought up an interesting thought today. He told me, "If it wasn't for the board, there would be no reason to stay with this program another minute."
He's right. Without coming on here and mixing it up with you guys, no matter how much it seems like beating my head against the wall most of the time, I could easily walk away from this trash and never look back. What is there to hang on to from a basketball standpoint?

What is there to hang on to from a basketball standpoint? good question. perhaps loyalty to the school or the team? Remember Cubs fans stuck with the Cubs , despite being bad for decades upon decades, I mean they went ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT YEARS between titles. The Packers were terrible for most of the 70s and 80s, it wasnt until Holmgren, Brett and Reggie came to town that things change. here, coaching makes all the difference. While its too much to expect the next coach to be of the caliber of Bruce Pearl or Bo Ryan, whoever he is , cant help but be an improvement over what we have now. I mean 12 wins past mid-January over 5 years? not good enough by any measure. Heck, most coaches would have been shown the door after 2 years of bad finishes. I cant speak for anyone else, but this is a painful but necessary end to an era when the bottom fell out of the program, in many different measures. We have a long way to climb back up, but step 1 in getting on that track is handing Baldwin his pink slip(do they still give pink slips?) and getting a good coach in here.

That’s not step one. Step one is changing the leadership ABOVE coach level.
Otherwise we are nowhere near bottoming out.

PBJ is now shooting 27% from 3 between FIBA, AAU and NCAA. Are we sure he’s even a good shooter? FYI, Gordon Hayward shot 29.4% from 3 as a sophomore in 2010, which was the year he was drafted ninth overall by the Jazz. Now the circumstances are certainly different, as Gordon started 37 games for a national championship runner-up, but the point is that the NBA has been known to draft far more on potential than production at least since Dirk Nowitzki (see: Antetokounmpo, Giannis).
