Wow, a really solid half. I mentally threw in the towel when Oakland went on their 12-0 run, but Milwaukee has been good. The Panthers aren’t making a crazy number of threes, and they’re badly losing when it comes to fouls, but this is probably as well as they’ve played all year.
VBJ, JT, and Bol in particular came to play in the first half.
I fully expect Oakland to come back. They’re a good and they seem to come back for most of their wins. Still, we know Milwaukee is capable of playing like this.

Agreed. The ticket office is amazing and they have no idea who’s injured, suspended or using load management breaks. "Oh, let's not voice displeasure to the people actually making decisions, let's just b**** to the same 10 people on this board every day. That'll change things with the basketball program!!" This fanbase is by and large just as loathsome as the administration is. If you see my posts, I’m anything but that. But once the debit card purchase goes through, there’s nothing you can do but speak up when they ask for a renewal in a few months, not when the starting lineups are released. But I agree with your frustration level, mine is directed towards the same few people who have the ability to improve this mess. |

When's the last time this team in the PBS era played two consecutive good halves of basketball in a single game? Has it ever happened? Usually, fantastic halves of basketball coincide with some of the worst halves of basketball. I'll proceed with low expectations.

When's the last time this team in the PBS era played two consecutive good halves of basketball in a single game? Has it ever happened? Usually, fantastic halves of basketball coincide with some of the worst halves of basketball. I'll proceed with low expectations. Iowa State (without Cameron Lard) in his first game against a D-1 team? (Of course, it was immediately followed by two awful halves against Concordia St. Paul). |
