Hey! Just here to enjoy the game. This team plays hard and has a long way to go. We all know that. They can look terrible and not that bad at times. I donβt think there is anything wrong with hoping these student athletes do their best and enjoy this time. There is a lot more in the world to cause worry. I donβt think there is anything involving leather full of air that will ever cause me the angst so many on this board seem to experience and possibly enjoy. Go Panthers! I don't enjoy the angst. I HATE it, because this seemingly endless institutional failure is completely unnecessary. Yet, it is enabled by people such as yourselves who hide behind sunshine and rainbows while pretending all is well, when in reality the program is in shambles. Although, in your defense, it is moreso those who are silent that enable the continuing institutional failure more than anyone here does. How the ticket office isn't having phones ringing off the hook every day with calls of outrage from season ticket holders regarding the FRAUD they've been sold regarding this season is unbelieveable to me.

this team, point blank should not be 4-9. if this was as a good a team, and Baldwin fils was as good a player as advertised, we would only have 1 maybe 2 losses and would be beating the pants off everyone else in this (VERY) watered down league. I get it that injuries happen, it happens to everyone. But there is no excuse for us to have the current record we do. we should be shooting for the 20+ wins that the peak Pearl teams ran up, instead of hoping to have a huge winning streak just to get back to .500. I've been on this forum a long time, I went to UWM and I was very fortunate that my tenure at UWM happened to coincide with this school's most successful basketball stretch. I expect the team to be competitive, every time they step on the floor. I expect better than what I have been seeing. This needs to be Baldwin pere's last season as coach, regardless if we make the Big Dance or not, but ESPECIALLY, if we miss it.

It seems like many here are ready to treat the symptoms but not address the disease.

There might be more pain and suffering along the way though.
