Any win is a good win for this team. But let’s be honest. NKU is not a good team. Then again, there may not be one in the HL other than OU — if that. It still won’t surprise me if we finish in the top half.
Now just pray AB doesn’t announce PBS’s five year extension tomorrow.

Well, we actually won. VBJ played great, we made free throws when it mattered, JSP had a huge bucket and rebound in crunch time. Hopefully we can gain some momentum from this. Next two games are very winnable, 4-2 to start conference play would be nice....

These two statements can both be true:
This Panther team may be the worst I’ve ever seen.
The Panthers are 2-2 in league play after playing two road games against the relative blue bloods in the conference, with our supposed best player out.
Still, a really nice job to come back from 17 down in the 2nd half. Good for the players!

I criticized J2 and VBJ after Wright St. I give them props today. Both played hard and well. J2 is so much more effective penetrating and getting to the rim.

I criticized J2 and VBJ after Wright St. I give them props today. Both played hard and well. J2 is so much more effective penetrating and getting to the rim. Same here. Super happy for all our players, they really shot and defended great for the entire 2nd half today. They looked so good when they played to their strengths, particularly all of J2's drives to the hoop, and the team looking for their teammates on offense instead of jacking up long shots. I sure hope they continue the play we saw in the 2nd half of this game, because it means we'll quickly have a winning record! |
