Not huge, but more than most attendances in the PBS era. Maybe 1,500 announced?

Looks like about 1,000 on TV when they zoom out and show the whole arena. I'm guessing a lot of people with ticket packages didn't show up to this one given 1pm on a workday, so it'll probly be listed as around 1,700 to 1,900 since sold tickets still count.

The Panthers played as a Division I team should play against an NAIA team for the first five minutes. And then they got outplayed by that NAIA team shooting below 30% in the next 15 minutes. Again, the Panthers are playing very short handed (Hankock is the leading scorer at halftime!) but there’s no reason this game should be within single digits a halftime.

Yeah I rewound the broadcast and looked again, and 750-850 looks like a better estimate. And you're also right about Newby and Hanco©k playing better together than Dre with anyone. Super sad. This team doesn't know how to play as a team.

Yeah, it is absolutely bewildering that Bol is not starting this game, or at least getting 25+ minutes with how well he played against much better D1 competition earlier in the season. Just another indictment of this staff's judgement.

My guess is that if these two teams were pitted against each other in a less structured setting, the guys wearing white trimmed with black and gold would win by 30-plus. What does that say?

Devon Hankock is having a great game shooting from 3. Other than that, there’s not much good in this game. Panthers are back up by 12, largely on Hankock’s shoulders (and SXU’s 28% shooting).

As has been the case every game this year (seemingly), the Panthers are being BADLY outhustled.
