I don’t actually think there’s any chance the team will lose this game. The problem is that winning it is totally irrelevant. An intrasquad scrimmage would probably be a better workout and a better draw, even with our roster.

All kidding aside, even if they play as bad as they have this season, there’s no reason Milwaukee shouldn’t win this by at least 20. Even the worst Division I program should be able to beat a team at the sub-Division II level by at least 20, as proven by IUPUI beating a Division III team by 20 earlier this year. (And yes, I realize Milwaukee beat MSOE by a mere 6 points earlier this season, but to keep any semblance of sanity with regard to being a fan of this program, I try to remind myself that that game was probably coached more as a scrimmage than an actual competitive game).

I guess that I'd just like the team to go out and show some competitive spirit. The expectations here are so downshifted now that it's frankly hard to see them.
