I'm not going to pull any punches: I have yet to see a point spread, but this is a game we should win. Bowling Green lost to Norfolk State. I saw Norfolk/Xavier on FS1 on Sunday. Xavier won by like 100. |

I just looked up Bowling Green. To put it plainly, so far this season they stink. They have yet to win a D1 game and have lost to Western Carolina (ranked 291) by 8, and to Norfolk State (ranked 278) by 6 -- at home. In between Ohio State toyed with them like they were Gators chomping on Panthers.
This should be an easy win. It concerns me that we are only a 2 point favorite here. Somebody may know something we don't.
ETA: This game might actually play into our defensive tendency the last few years to let other teams rain threes on us. BG is 321st in the country in 3 percentage, shooting a putrid 25.6% as a team. That's actually worse than our 26%. So here's the plan: pack it in on defense, get in the paint on offense.

BG has a lot of returning talent and added some nice pieces. Regardless of if they played well so Far they have the talent to easily figure it out. |
