As I stated during the PFW games, tip your hat to the opponent. This type of three point shooting would be impressive in pre-game warmups.

Ayyyyye it's probably over.
Outside of Gholston and Coleman we don't have serious 3pt threats. Like it or not those are necessary. The 3pt shot has a very significant statistical impact on (causal relationship with) winning basketball games.

Three minutes left what do guys see that needs to be fixed? I feel like we have really good (some potential great) players but we don't look that good when we play. Inconsistent. Haven't flat-out dominated anyone this year. Some of these games I expected to be a cakewalk. Not getting swept by PFW, etc. |

Playing terrible right now!!!! Make adjustments!!!! This entire 2nd half was a stark lesson in how a coach like Darrin Horn knows how to make 2nd half adjustments, while PBS does not. |

Northern Kentucky wants it a whole lot more. Add that to the Panthers’ offense that seems to be “give it to either Lucas or Gholston and let them take a shot no matter where they are or how many players are guarding them” and I can’t see the Panthers winning another game this year... at least in the regular season with NKU, WSU, and Oakland left.
The individual players on the Panthers have a lot of talent... but that doesn’t make a good team. I’ll show my age a bit here, but Tim Flowers and Torre Johnson had a lot of talent, but the team really stunk. After they were kicked off the team, the Panthers played much better with team players like Marcus Skinner and even Jason Averkamp. We always seem to be happy with Baldwin’s recruiting guys who are either highly regarded or who played for high majors,, but none of Baldwin’s teams have been able to mesh as a team for a full season.
This is just so frustrating.

Well what can anybody do? We can't change the captain mid-voyage. PBS is our coach this year and next at very least.
I think he's a very good person and learning as a coach. But I don't know how we can change the situation we are in. He and his crew run the ship.
It's funny because, if PBS were to take us to the Dance on a crazy HLT run (who knows right?? we have the personnel) we fans would be so pissed to see him leave. College hoops is great. Like I said before I just pray we can build something that lasts. We were on our way once...

LONGER TERM - -Something to discuss after the season. I certainly understand that would do little for you though, depending what Josh decides. |
