Some of our newcomers actually are high-quality 3pt shooters, and have shown that during the good start to the season. I'm sure it was a big reason why several of them were recruited. The problem is that they aren't being utilized properly (amongst other problems on this team).
I'm not sure this team will be a winning team without mixing in at least an average amount of 3pt attempts, by the right players, within the framework of effective, team-oriented offense. Instead, I'm seeing 3pt attempts by Lucas and other non-newcomers early in the shot clock far too often. There's clearly some other factors at play here, which has been alluded to by TonyT.

We won’t win another game playing this way.Terrible play calling nothing has changed we will lose this game tonight and what’s sad Cleveland st not that good but the coaches has lost the team they’re not playing for him any more players tired of the play calling with the same play shooting the 3 that’s killing us. We won’t win unless changes are made I see only one more win left when against IUPUI which we will split and lose the rest of the games. We are wasting this year with silliness and selfishness have to make adjustments now!!!

Coaching not doing their job in this no adjustments just letting them run up the floor this is unacceptable head might roll because of this. It’s embarrassing on national tv I've been embarassed by this coaching staff for 3 + years. Welcome to the club. |
