"It's a big win for our guys, especially after not playing as well as we thought we could have yesterday and coming back today against a very good team," Baldwin said. "Throughout the game, we never seemed to have control and it seemed like we were dead in the water when we were down 14 with two minutes and change left."
"We gave our guys goals throughout the timeouts in different segments of the game about how we wanted to cut the lead," Baldwin said. "And Te'Jon, the great leader that he is, just kept talking about 'continue to fight and believe' and our guys really stepped up. I am just really proud of our guys. They showed some resiliency in a tough weekend for us. I do want our guys to celebrate this, because it a tough and well-earned win."

Don't get to watch the Panthers as much as I want to, but when I do the same thought comes to mind: There is a lot of talent on this team.
Our record should be better.

Cleveland State is at No. 160 in today's NET rankings; we are at No. 212. Wright State is the only league member ahead of Cleveland State at No. 61.

There is a reason the best players get coddled more than others. Without Tejon, this team is likely way under.500. 31/10 and people were criticizing him in this thread. Seems odd to me.

Not true at all! The proof is your face. Lucas hasn’t had a good season this year at all. This team is well balanced with skill level but lack the dirty work skills by grabbing rebounds and one on one defense is terrible! We need to change the plays everyone knows what we running give the ball to Lucas.others players are breaking the plays and shooting 3’s that’s why you see so many bad shots big man asking for the ball and can’t get it Coaches have to fix this problem. Team is not getting along they’re just out there not playing for each other. We got real lucky yesterday but I guarantee you if we don’t play as a team we will lose because everyone wants to score 20 but nobody wants to rebound let’s fix this!!! |

Keep in mind, we are a young team. Lots of talent, but the majority have only played 10 games together. Perhaps this is the year we get it together late in the season and go on a run. Talent is def there. |

That's a bridge too far. We did just lose on national television 24 hrs ago. Am I missing a bunch of nationally televised wins since 2014? Because 3-1 against a pair of schools that entered the weekend 15-1 in league play seems...good? (not to mention 3 of the 4 games were AWESOME. and not just bc they were wins) I'm sorry. I'm one of those people who doesn't give a sh*t about women's basketball. |

I follow the women’s team on Twitter so I’m always aware of how they are playing. And obviously they are dominating right now.
But I’m afraid to invest myself too heavily because I know how it always ends. Better that I just continue to monitor from afar and not add to the constant heartache that sports gives me day in and day out.

The thing I have not seen from anyone, let's give credit to Donovan Newby making all three free throws with 10.5 seconds to tie the game, that forced overtime. How many times do we see a guy not make all three. Did you think he was going to make all three?

So many of our newcomers this year are great shooters and super clutch, and are the reasons we won many games early in the season. I can't wait to see them get more and more playing time! |

Grant Coleman is one of those great shooters and comes through in the clutch (also nailed three free throws late against Kansas State). He got his bell rung on Saturday and needed assistance just to stand. Hopefully he will not miss much action, if any.
