I like our record like I said before this team is a good team compared to last year. We should be undefeated but this is key and I keep saying this because it’s real important SACRIFICE your game for the betterment of the team. Pay attention what’s going on it’s sticking it’s head out a lil bit and the coach has to jump on it quickly. We played bad in those stretches because everyone wants to score 30pts like Simms did and because of that everyone wanted to scored not PLAYING a team game and decided to play one on one. That’s when the turnovers came no offensive rebounds and taking bad shots also offensive fouls because someone scored 30! Coaches jump on this quick we have to stay together as one to win! Lucas is the man but JT is the glue that make this work as a team leadership by seniors but imagine this team next year when PBJ comes remember I told you he was coming last year in May can be special IF everyone stays can be a powerhouse possibly but I’m scared of what can happen because ppl are thinking when he comes all the attention going to be on PBJ and the jealousy will pop up this is where the coaches have to get this under control NOW!!!!! Because I would love to this team next year play.

Unless PBJ scored 70+ every night there is always a lot of attention to go around. Especially if we were to become a powerhouse next season (in a relative sense)... maybe we could get ranked in the Top 25 in '21-'22!.... 'never know..

My bittersweet fear is that we catch all the right breaks and wind up Top 50* by the end of THIS season. Which would be great..

If our AD/University/Chancellor could handle what that would mean.

I hope this group stays together, lands another great recruit or 2 and makes a run this March and an even bigger run in March '22.



*not in RPI rankings (Horizon winner hasn't been Top 100 in a while) but if we for instance made the Tourney and won a game- this coming March. Will it happen? Maybe not. But it could. My point is just that one always has to have contingency plans (*cough* *cough* *restructure/ext* *cough* *cough* *practice facility*). A lot of people on this board can testify to the fact that recruiting and the makeup of a team can be.... very fluid. Especially at the end of a season/in April.

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer and remind us that this is indeed a business in so many ways.... but somebody needs to mention it. It really sucks that someone at the AD pissed off very wealthy donors like David Nicholas who can help eliminate the resistance met when talking athletics budgets with academic leaders who often do not understand or care about intercollegiate sports and what they can mean for a university, its students, alum and the members of the community which it is a part of.

Also, not sure if you can shed light tonyt but what is the status of Lathon?

I feel like he has been hyped (by me quite a bit lol) up longer than Dr. Dre's Detox LP.

Is there some paperwork or a deadline that we are waiting for? Seems like if he were to play this season.. he'd start soon.
