I assume it has to do with allowing Detroit more options travel-wise postgame Saturday. So a Saturday tip at 11 AM would mean you would want a similar tip time Friday. And no fans and teams on winter semester break, so time-wise I assume that's not a concern.

tonyt is correct but we will be playing IUPUI instead.
I just put out the release and info.
IUPUI was set to play Robert Morris, but safe to say you know why that's off now too.
Same dates/same tip times/same ESPN3 links/same live stats links

Told ya'll the Detroit series wasn't happening. Glad we have games though, disappointed we couldn't move the time so I don't have to watch it while pretending to work. Anyone know if they plan on making any of these games up at a later date?

You mean it’ll be interesting to see if we play them a 3rd and 4th time? I’d imagine we’ll play at Detroit that weekend. Or vs UIC but that would more than likely be on a weekday I’d think given the short drive. |

When COVID 19 popped up in the UIC women's program recently, the league moved Cleveland State in to play Purdue Fort Wayne at the last minute. Apparently they had the UIC bus turn around and head back home. NKU was suddenly left without an opponent, so they had to scramble to find a non-league game. As of today, there's no UIC at Purdue Fort Wayne series scheduled, so it appears the league just decided not to play it. |
