The Pistons’ schedule hasn’t been announced so I’m guessing it can’t be confirmed. The bigger question remains WHY LCA would opt-in for these last two years?

So it looks like Detroit still loves failure b/c it looks like the tourney's officially back for next year. horizonleague.org/sports/2017/9/5/GEN_0905171749.aspxBased on the Pistons' & Red Wings' schedules, the format doesn't even have to change from last year! No other events are occurring that first weekend in March at the arena too. God knows what kind of unspeakable acts LeCrone did to make this happen. To quote The 40-Year-Old Virgin, "...we're talking things that illegal in Alabama."

One major thing. The calendar is pushed back by a week. All the major conference tournaments are March 12th thru 17th. So, the Horizon League would land March 8th thru 12th. Pistons play on March 10th at noon. So, stay tuned.

In that case, I can see this scenario: Thursday 1st round games hosted at higher seed’s venue Saturday All quarterfinals matchups Monday Both semifinals Tuesday Finals As for the women, back to the old format for the first and quarterfinals rounds. Tbd on semis and the championship a few hours before the men’s on Tuesday in Detroit.
