1. Registers just to make one post on UWM board; 2. Inexplicably uses Badger basketball related name irrelevant to either Milwaukee or MU; 3. Too dumb to realize my post was a credit to MU for taking the amateurs in the Milwaukee athletic administration to school;
and the final proof...
4. Posts when every other sports fan has settled in for rivalry day in college football.
C'mon, Mrs. Crean, get a life.

I think we all should take a step back, take a deep breath, take a moment to reconsider our situation, take inventory of everything that has happened, and take the opportunity to give our community a second chance to get things right.
We don't need to be lobbing grenades at each other; for all our disagreements over the years, we all still care deeply about the Black and Gold. That includes all of us. I truly wish everyone here the best in life and I don't want this animosity to continue - especially since 90% of this board is on-board with Amanda Braun getting the axe.
As soon as I saw Tommy and Matt start the other thread for the Badger game to talk about the actual game, I renamed this thread. I am totally on board with their idea to keep it separate, as long as they're both allowed to exist.
To those people who don't want the conversation, I get it. It's been almost 20 months of this. You're looking forward to the D-Board getting back to just basketball. But you have to understand that from where we're sitting, and from what we can see, this program's on-court success is absolutely tied to resolution regarding the athletic director and possibly the chancellor. The success we all crave on the court was made possible by those two offices being occupied by people who did not micromanage the basketball coach, but rather supported the coach in everything he needed to get the job done. The fact that the current athletic director committed some egregious acts against the program is in the past; that person hasn't paid for their sins. Keep in mind that there are a lot of these that haven't hit any kind of public discussion, including this one. Also keep in mind that there's been plenty of missteps since the spring 2016 debacle, as well as ones that have happened over the last five years that have nothing to do with the former basketball coach.
The those who want the conversation to keep going, obviously we're on the same side of the fence. But it's always easier to attract flies with honey; vinegar ain't gonna do it. I know that you all have information that isn't public, and it's easier to see why you're still angry a year and a half later if you know the full story. But you have to remember that even if some people know the full story or close to it, that doesn't mean they're going to be all-in. They may think it's past time, or that the AD chair isn't important. The best way forward is to be respectful, even if people are ignoring things right in front of their face. Some people really do just want to talk about the basketball on the court, even if things that happen off the court have a huge effect on the court. We win no friends by being dickish to people who are fans just because they support the program that is run by the current athletic director. I support the program that is run by the current athletic director, and you're not jumping on me. So let's be calm and allow people to disagree with us without cutting into them. They're not the focus of our anger, so we shouldn't treat them worse just because the athletic director seems to be made of Teflon. Being level-headed has won us a lot of support from people that are now angry at us for a bunch of reasons. Let's get back to being chill.
Let's just remember that we're all Panthers, at the end of the day, and do our best to be courteous with each other.
