I'm supposed to be working until game time, so hopefully I can get down there in time. If not, I'll be down there tomorrow and maaaaaaaaybe Sunday (my sister-in-law's 40th birthday party is Sunday @ 5 so not likely). I can't wait to see plenty of basketball and some friendly faces.

Let's take care of business this weekend. If Baldwin can get the students out just like last Friday, we might be looking at the next Bruce Pearl. I want Pat Baldwin to be the next Pat Baldwin. If people want to win, expect the wins. If people want him to get the fans excited, expect him to excite the fan base. But as soon as we start using past coaches in setting standards for Baldwin, we're doing him a disservice. That said, early signs are great. I'm happy with how well he's doing here. I thought Dana Ford would have been fantastic, but there's never just one person for a job and Baldwin's hitting the right notes early on. |

FIU is up 50-40 on Elon early in the 2nd half. Elon came in as a 14 point favorite.

So, Elon and FIU started at 5:30. They went to overtime at 7:05. Elon won in triple overtime 95-87. 30 minute break between games. Delayed the start which has to be the fastest game ever until going in OT. Now, another delay as their is a tiny water leak as it's pouring in Milwaukee in mid November.
Panther game to start at 9:00pm.
