It is really hilarious reading the live game thread over at Iowa State. Many of them vastly discrediting this Milwaukee team. You'd think being close to Wisconsin, they would be familiar with Milwaukee, but we returned a lot of starters who ended the season on a promising note. This Iowa State team appears poorly coached and lacks power 5 talent.

If they watched college basketball for more then the last few years they would realize we have a decent program and a few NCAA tournament wins... |

ISU might be mediocre but this is an UNREAL result for a team in constant upheaval. Baldwin is a hell of a coach. I honestly can't believe this score.

Iowa State only made five baskets in the whole 2nd half with three of them in the final two minutes.

Holy freaking cow. What a win, Panthers! I am blown away. This team is going to be far better than any of us imagined. Well coached, disciplined squad. I don't care what the fair-weather folk at Iowa State were saying -- a win on the court at Hilton is a big freaking deal.

This was a blowout and Milwaukee completely dominated a Big 12 opponent on the road. And ISU is dominating on their home floor. Not tonight. This will turn a few heads.
