i think BlackPanther, that its a chicken and the egg approach. in order to get where we want to be, we first have to win conference titles, preferably both regular season and tourney titles. had we won that tournament title last year, would we have cared what our record was, as we were watching our guys play in the dance? I think not, I think any sort of appearance in march Madness is something to point to, both to recruits and boosters, as well as to fans. what this program needs, imo, more than anything else is stability and consistency

If you guys want to go for it, I want to go for it. Milwaukee needs wild optimism. I want to get rid of the AD. What do you guys got? |

BlackPanter, i was there at UWM during those years, I graduated in 2006. we reached heights we had never dreamed of, and in doing so, raised the bar for the program. we havent matched those heights since, then again, few mid-majors even get to the Sweet 16 once. Northwestern has never made it. i would love to say, we'll win the conference tourney this year and get back to the dance' thats optimism. getting rid of the AD. imo requires poor performance by the team.

Has anyone heard of any rumors regarding coach's staff? Is Townsend going to stay on?
I watched Baldwin on Fox 6 last night. He said he talked to all of the players individually and as a team. Any word on possible transfers or where the incoming players stand? Have Alderson, Johnson, Nero or Newsome made it to campus yet?

Hard to believe OSU firing their coach could trickle all the way down to us losing some of the best recruits we've had in a while. I was really looking forward to seeing Alderson in a Panther uniform. That's a huge loss but not much of a surprise to me. Doesn't make it suck any less...

I would have been more surprised if the news came out that Alderson and Nero were still coming. Players come for the coach, not the one trip they make to the school.
