Looking for two more teams for our MTE here in Milwaukee on November 17-19. We currently have 1 team committed. Hotels and a competitive guarantee included. All MM teams. You also get an option to play a Non-D1 as well.
Looking to start a home-home in Milwaukee on either November 10th or 11th.

It's almost impossible for a strong mid-major to schedule.

Screw the MVC. They won't play the Horizon League. (Lol)

If nothing else, other teams should look at this as a great opportunity to scout Milwaukee's roster for potential transfers and poach local high schools for mid-major quality recruits!

They should try and play teams that are as good as they can get to preserve the RPI for conference rivals, even if we're unlikely to get anything other than a 16-seed if we catch lightning in a bottle and win the HLT next March. Scheduling is hard, because you're trying to make sure there are enough winnable games to post a decent number and keep your players' spirits up, but not so many as to not challenge the team. The kids need to get better and it's better to take lumps now when the losses aren't as important.

Or....alternatively, you could maybe join a conference that doesn't suck. Crazy, I know. That is just IMPOSSIBLE. Joining another conference is really hard when you are a school with 20,000 plus students in a metro area of over 2 million people....what conference wants that, anyway? I mean who does that?
Well, except Marquette*, Butler* (twice in 2 years), De Paul, Xavier*, Loyola Chicago*, Louisville, Rutgers, VCU, Nevada, etc.

I hated the Bracket Buster Challenge at the end but MMs need it back in the worst way. Just call it something different.

I just hope that it's two mid-majors as many of us would define them and not as most observers would define them.
Otherwise, we could be looking at North Carolina A&T and UMBC.

Agreed, hoping for an SIU quality program, expecting more of an SIU-E one though. Not too much difference between those two nowadays Sent from my SM-G930R4 using pro boards I don't want to start any more arguments on this board. But I think there is a bit of a difference between a program that is 3rd place in the MVC and a program that is last place in the OVC. SIU-E also hasn't had a winning record since the year SIU made the Sweet 16 I believe. While SIU has been very solid these last two seasons.
