Didn't get to see the game but I'm not surprised if Lavall gets outcoached a lot this year. He's in his first year, mistakes will be made 1000x over. Remember when Jeter tried playing the swing his first year? Remember how he tried having Chris Hill post up under the basket? Just like Jeter, Lavall will learn and adjust. The team has talent and fight, it's just going to take awhile for everything to mold together. The only way I'm not attending games this year is because of scheduling conflicts.

Well, LaVall also takes the blame on the postgame radio.
Other than getting punched in the mouth in the first 10 minutes and losing Cody in what looked at the time as a major injury, LaVall did not get outcoached. Don't understand why some use that term when a team loses. Mike Daum who came in with averaging 19pts and 9rebs per game. Daum went for a career-high 32 points, sinking 10-of-13 shots from the field and 11-of-13 from the line. UWM has nobody that can guard a player like that. With the numbers coming in, others teams are saying the same thing about Daum. Major difference was SDST was on fire for the first time from three.

The Panthers were clueless how to attack the zone defenses that SDSU threw at them. Adjustments were needed. That's a coaching issue.

True, the Panthers were clueless on to attack the zone. LaVall took the blame on himself in the postgame on WISN. The major adjustments that were needed were guys just to need to hit open looks. Everyone other than Cody and Cameron are playing D1 minutes for the first time. I would imagine zone breaking is being worked on practice as we speak.
