Winable games.
Cody is streaky when it comes to his shooting, a bit like Austin, he hit early he will be fine, but go cold like at DePaul and we end up 3/23. Hopefully, something we see different is, if those shots aren't falling our coach is telling them to play in the paint, and not try to shoot out of it.

4-22 shooting in the second half is not going win too any games doing that. 86-62 loss 2nd half shooting seems to be the main issue so far this season. That and lack of defense. ETSU is a good team... But they aren't 24 points better than us. Hopefully the guys can come up with a W in the next couple of days. A boost in confidence (and maybe a home game) is much needed right now. I went into the season knowing it was a rebuilding year and I'm sure there will be more ugly performances like this one. Still looking forward to watching these guys grow. Lots of talent on the roster. On a positive note, great game (first half) from Brock. Nice to see guys step up and keep us in games. Just need to do it for the full 40 minutes. |

As said above, only being able to play one good half seems to be a trend with this team. On the plus side, what all the underclassmen have done so far this year makes me think the future is bright.

The problem is the Panthers have no big guy on the roster. We can't get anything from Brett right now.
UC Irvine is a 10.5 favorite this afternoon.

Good start so far. That is encouraging. Hopefully we can keep that up throughout the whole game. As others have said, I think that there is a lot of potential for this team. In a few years I think we will be pretty good.
