Best of luck to Austin, enjoyed watching him play especially in the tournament year. Unfortunately, this is not going to be the only player to leave I feel.

I appreciate Austin Arians' efforts and contributions to the program and I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. It is hard to ignore that his play left a lot to be desired. He was a defensive liability who lacked lateral quickness, and was a streaky three point shooter with questionable shot selection. I'm gonna say this once, so pay attention. When you show up on the message board with image screenshots of an HTML table of Rob Jeter's record set to the same style as the university athletics website, it's pretty easy to figure out who you are. I mean honestly, I'm a moderator and can see your IP address, but I don't even need to see it to know who you are, bro. When it's easy to figure out who you are, it's incredibly insulting to know that this person is willing to come on the fan message board and disparage a player on the team. It's one thing for fans to do this. It's another thing entirely for you to do this. Austin Arians' AAU coach, Justin Litscher, put out today that Austin was encouraged to consider a transfer by Amanda Braun in spring of 2014 after the APR ban was put down. You're fighting a losing battle. Get lost.

Slow down Jimmy -- at least give them time to tell us what talentless bums the rest of our players are once they also announce their transfers.
Nothing new, I guess. I remember an athletic director who disparaged James Eayrs as "that fat kid." We sure do pick them.

In terms of the spreadsheet, that I posted noting Rob Jeter's record I did use the school's colors but I can assure you I have no affiliation with the school or its athletic department. Just an objective fan of the program that's not using bias or emotion to cloud my judgment.

I mean honestly, I'm a moderator and can see your IP address ... You are? To everyone, please cease with the accusations of who posters may or may not be. Debate the topics and differing viewpoints without the name-calling and accusations. There hasn't been much need for moderation on these boards in the last several years, and I hope we're all civil and adult enough to keep it that way. Thanks.

Oh. My. God. This explains SO much. How is it possible you did not understand this sentence? " I'm a moderator and can see your IP address, but I don't even need to see it to know who you are, bro." Seriously....this is who is in charge over there? This is the best we can do? It all makes sense now....and not at all in a good way.

Doesn't matter. I didn't look at it - when I said I can see, I meant that I could. But now that the only moderators are the shadow Admin and PantherLou, gomkepanthers can keep on trying to make the argument about Rob Jeter, who is no longer the basketball coach. Because making it about the guy who won-but-didn't-win-enough is the only argument he has a chance of winning.

LOL remember the other day when I said firing jeter would lead to instability and everyone disagreed with me The funniest part of all of this? It was over making the move to a new coach one year earlier. Braun could have supported the program the way it's supposed to be supported (I'm not talking $$$), and Jeter could have gotten a better job and already been gone by now.
