Very impressed with the way Akeem handled himself. Certainly sounded much better on the radio than Ms. Braun did.
If we had any type of leadership they would use this as a rallying cry to raise money for Panther Athletics.

Social Media Toady: Ms. Braun!!! Akeem is on the radio! He is saying bad things about us! And some guy named Lance Allen or something is doing a TV thingy with some players.
Braun: Call the enforcers. Dissent will NOT be tolerated!
Marketing Toady: Wait! Ms. Braun....this is great news!!! It takes me months to get us in the news! This is fantastic!!!! Finally...PUBLICITY!!! The donors will come rolling in now.
Braun: Well, in that case, let them carry on. This is a great day for Milwaukee Wisconsin University!!!
Social Media Toady: Ummmm....Ms. Braun. It's actually The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
Braun: Oh, Whatever! Who cares! They are saying my name on TV!!!!

I''d like someone to point out to me how Braun has intentionally "sabotaged" Rob Jeter. We all know she didn't allow the team to participate in post-season play, fired the coach the players like, and let them all know by text message. The fact that Matt Tiby is "ashamed" to be associated with the university seems a bit much considering what's been made public. If there is more to the story, then let's hear it. But the innuendo of more shoes to drop, specifically by guys like D'Amato, isn't helping things.

She's also lied about it, telling parents that a foreign trip is a better use of money than CBI/CIT. - Refusing to lift a finger to fix the practice situation for hoops in the meantime between May 2013 and the opening of the practice facility. Springs put it best - players not allowed to practice on their own, team pushed out of gym by Ultimate Frisbee, etc. There's more but I'm headed home. 9 pm closing up shop. |

The practice thing is a joke. No question about that. But neglect/incompetence doesn't equate sabotage.
