i work in radio-540 ESPN, and we dont cover UWM much, even though I've pushed for it. Homers the voice of the Golden Eagles, we have connections with Madison( Halperin etc), we should have connection with UWM as well. Even if I have to be that connection.Havent gone to any home games this year because they didnt send the station any press passes this year, like they have done in the past. Otherwise I would have attended several games. And as for the Arena I strongly opposed tearing it down. you have one of the few major sports buildings in the state older than Lambeau, you renovate it so its there for another 50. not tear it down for some newfagled thing that will be torn down itself in 30 years (Bradley Center) I'm just racking my brains to think of who at 540 ESPN could be a connection for this university...  |
