Good start to the second half. I would love to see us build a big lead but that doesn't seem to be our style.

Good start to the second half. I would love to see us build a big lead but that doesn't seem to be our style. Seems like we could have had a big lead going but we keep missing all these short shots, plus some wide open threes. Oakland starting to heat up.

I could really use a game without a dozen mini heart-attacks.

Springs would have certainly helped. Arians 2014 makes that shot though.

What happened out there tonight?

Max Hooper happened. That was one of the most ridiculous shooting displays I have ever seen. He transferred to OU from St. John's. I watched SJU play MU for a half yesterday before I couldn't stand how miserable a game it was and he is far better than any player they have.
Tough loss tonight and a lot of what ifs with Akeem out and Tiby hamstrung by fouls, but that was an absolutely riveting college basketball game played at a very, very high level.

well, we held Felder under 20...that's...something... We actually defended K very well after the first few minutes of each half. Man he's talented. Our guy is pretty damn good too.

I can't explain, but i am still surprised by the level of officiating in this league. After all these years i should expect it.
Matt Tiby gets a technical for asking for an explanation of what he did to be called for a foul; no histrionics that i can see. Kay Felder storms off the court after fouling out; Greg Kampe repeatedly takes steps out on to the court; both showing more emotional reactions to calls they don't like, yet nothing is called. (Did any of the officials say anything to either?)
That said, the officials themselves did not lose the game for the Panthers. Somehow the Panthers seemed off, especially at the start. Jordan was hot, but it didn't seem like anyone else was doing much in the first half; perhaps Jordan was trying to do too much.
Milwaukee lost because of defensive lapses which repeatedly gave up runs to Oakland and because they couldn't guard number 10. Even so, they kept fighting back and were close at the end. If they had just shot three-pointers tonight at their season percentage (.355 going into the game), they hit two more shots, score six more points, and win by three instead of losing by three.

Very disappointed.
We needed this one.

He spent a year at Harvard before St. Johns...and his dad was a pro tennis player. That helps explain the sweet stroke!

Shooting 33 3s was ridiculous, especially given how poorly we were shooting. We have the best free throw shooting team in the league. Force the issue inside.

Jeter sat Tiby way too long in the second half. Get him in the game.
How many minutes did he play in the second half? Three?
I want to see Brock Stull/Cody take some of AA's minutes (and shots). Enough is enough.
Props to Jimmy L. for organizing that student section. That was fun to see.

JR stepped up and was huge tonight. Austin's minute need to be cut in half, he's been terrible, I would much rather see Cody or Brock out there.
