I feel the Panthers played very well in this game. Tough environment, without Austin, on national TV in ESPNU and even with the major foul disparity. Do I think we should have won this game? Yes, but this game will help out a ton when we get to conference season and like what others have said...that is what this tough early schedule is for.
Looking forward to my first season as a season ticket holder following graduation that is for sure.

"Class" in sports is a horsesh!t concept that upper-middle class whites wield like a sword and is laden with classist and racist undertones. Just come out and call him a thug or whatever, it's the same damn thing. The absurdity of this statement is off the charts: laden with hyperbole, supposition and conjecture.

Did they have all their players available? Any foul disparity during the game or anything like that? So sad to see the whining and crying. The fouls were legit, the slow team just couldn't stay in front of their men. Auburn is seriously under-manned right now, it was the perfect time to play them. The excuse making is sad, your embarrassing the smarter Panthers fans. The rest of them understand the more talented and better conditioned team won. Move on, and the best of luck in the next one. The utterly myopic GB fanboy presumes to lecture BBFran...that's rich.

You are the one who's sad, troll. Speaking of class, did you guys hear what our athletics department is doing? For our January home game against Green Bay, our cheerleaders will be outfitted in the uniforms of their Phoenix counterparts to pay homage to the efforts of Alec Brown and Kiefer Sykes, who each heroically played 35 minutes in last year's Horizon League semifinal despite life-threatening injuries. Now that's class!

"Class" is absolutemy a racial double standard in sports. Taking the NFL combine as an example, because we actually have a tool to measure word usage for it, the word "class" was used to describe white athletes 10 times and black athletes 41 times. Black athletes are held to a much higher standard of class than whites, because we also value players who are hard-workin, blue-collar, lunchpail-carryin, and other coded language for whites. It infuriates me when people use such obviously coded language. Here's the link, search for "class" on your own and corroborate deadspin.com/which-words-are-used-to-describe-white-and-black-nfl-pr-1573683214

I have my opinion regarding Matt Tiby (whom is white and so am I) and you have your's regarding "class" as coded language.

Oh for crying out loud GB, go back to your own board. You clearly didn't understand Fran's post.
What Fran is talking about is the so-called "article" that was in the JS paper. It hardly talked about the game at all. It was a Bruce Pearl lovefest article.
Therefore, no words about basic game topics you usually find in a sports article. No mention at all about the players Auburn was missing or the players Milwaukee was missing. No mention of any foul shot differential, etc ...
He wasn't complaining one way or the other about the fouls. The disparity was just large. That's usually something you find at least get a sentence in an article.

Do we have a moderator here anymore? Can we please finally ban that guy? Boot his ass out of here.
All he does is post garbage and usually never contributes anything constructive to any topic.
And yes, I know you can block postings on your own now. Just did that with him.
To those that know me and wonder what's up with me. Yes, I am in a pissed-off mood right now. A mood that will probably not be resolved 'till the UWM Panther Arena is safe again.

You mean I can block all of GB BB Is Back's postings and never have to read his stupid comments ever again? As soon as I hit the send button on this reply, that's what I'm doing. Thanks for the heads up!
And he doesn't stick to his own board because the GB message board is pathetic. Enjoy the Badgers on Wednesday.

I have three views on my experience at Auburn.
1. Justin Jordan should have played more in the second half. While I greatly value Steve's Senior leadership and the fact he stayed in the program when he could have left, on Friday night Justin was more valuable on the floor. Ride the hot hand.
2. Our freshmen are impressive as a whole. I hope that continues!
3. Auburn fans are terrible. They literally make Green Bay fans seem somewhat informed about basketball. I have two words for them: Roll Tide!
It was great to see Coach Pearl back in the game though.

I'm generally a big proponent of the ignore button but in GBBIB's case I think I'd miss the unintentional comedy too much. A GB fan calling out Milwaukee fans for "making excuses?" Even if he was right does this guy not represent the same fanbase (sidebar philosophical question: are 6 people a fanbase?) who told us endlessly that it was only the near fatal injuries to Alec Brown and Keifer Sykes that explained Milwaukee beating them in the HLT? (And by the way, by what miracle of science is Keifer still with us? Maybe it's a miracle!)
Also, I feel kind of sorry for GBBIB. He has nobody to talk with on the GB board.

I still have yet to get over this game.... They had it in the bag. Free throws, again a curse.
